every run

every hodge ton

should be on

It's just not cricket

I hate the ACB for doing this. How dare they ruin EVERYONES boxing day.

F*ck em' Guarentee there will be a live feed on the NET. Just can't miss that first session when Lawry rants and raves about our great ground. haha

in my opinion every game should be shown live even against the gate. What do people think about this? I honestly dont think crowds will be affected if you showed a game against the gate

Used to be great living in Wollongong, a mere hour and 15 minutes from the SCG and 40 minutes from the outskirts of Sydney and getting the full days play compared to sydney only getting the second half

Definite for ALL limited overs games (50 and 20 over). Don't know about test cricket to be honest, particularly when a lower profile team arrive.

Crowds wouldn't be affected at all if the prices dropped to about $15 GA and about $25 for the cheapest reserved seats but that's a discussion for another thread.

Hi..I am actually from India and found this forum while searching cricket discussion forums and joined it.

Here in India we have special sports/cricket channels which show each and every ball live, even for matches not involving India. I am 100% sure that I will get to see every ball of the boxing day match live. Heck, we even get Australian domestic cricket live:p.

So my question is don't you have such dedicated cricket channels in Australia? I have seen people complaining about the broadcast getting interrupted because of news on Ch 9.

Nine paid extra to air live into Melbourne and Sydney, regardless of the crowd.

The rule still applies to Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Hobart when it isn't sold out.

The current contract expires in 2012 I think.

2003 board.

I was actually wondering about that with the up-coming Boxing Day Test. Fantastic that us Melbournians will be able to see the entire Test, without having to wait until 9 shows the final session.

We don't have any dedicated cricket channels in Australia evdo. The only dedicated sports channel that we have had here was for Australian Rules Football, but that was wound up a couple of years ago. On pay TV, we have 3 sports channels that show alot of sport around the world 24 hours a day, and one of our FTA Channels has ONE HD, which also shows sport 24 hours a day
