Spanna65 I noticed on your WCE GGG entry that your stitching is grey. I'd advise making it black and turning the opacity down.

I think mine is at 30% for stitching.

Maybe make the top of the shorts a bit wider, so they don't come in on an angle so much? I would say the width of the guernsey without side panels

i don't know, i think it looks better as-is, i'll keep fiddling with it though

As of today my template looks like this.

I've come a long way from this just by tracing a different jumper.

Different collars for my template.

ISC, BLK, Nike, Star, New Balance, Hawthorn Adidas, Plain V-neck, retro collar.
I'm going to see how retro template, woolen and lace up jumpers would look.

Should just be a curved line.

Make the sides straight at the top but have a small curve out at the bottom, sort of like my template.

Make the bottom hem of the back of shorts follow the same thickness as the front, instead of the arc currently.
Flip the curves of the inside of the crotch and make the leg length longer, unless you want tight shorts.

Technically you've just traced lmach's/ScottFreo's template. It's a nice template, but I'm not sure if feedback is necessary, as it should be going towards lmach.

Edited with bits and pieces. Like I said still a work in progress. Plus lmach doesn't use this template.

Surely you could do better though. I don't understand the point of tracing a new template and "adding bits and pieces". Borderline plagiarism. Permission is generally required, but I'm just mentioning this because it is a graphic design board, and you can get pulled up big time by the wrong types of people for doing things like this.

For the sake of learning, why not try making one from scratch?

lol. Feel free to stop posting if you think that was criticism. It's advice that is definitely warranted. You've done some fantastic work on here, but tracing someone else's template isn't what this thread is designed for. I'm helping you in terms of legality and morals, so there's no need to do a massive backflip like that.

Oh yeah so when you traced Cory's PS template to AI you were on top of the world.
