Are we still caring about losing Taz for sweet FA? The way our recruiters have been working the last couple of years, they're balancing out a decade of rubbish decisions in quick fashion.

Great pick up - played some great footy for Perth...I think the mob down the road won't be happy with this....:D

Very excited by picking up Mzungu and only losing a few places in our draft order. This is great news getting in talent that is really going to put pressure on the best 22 straight away.

On the flipside, there are going to be some VERY nervous Fremantle fringe players that are going to be borderline to getting the old Heave ho! Getting 2 new players that will play whilst keeping picks that we will be using means that someone is going to make way!

It mentions his good speed and endurance testing in the linked article. Is there anywhere we can see the state screening results? For those who have seen a bit of him, is he quick?, where would he likely play for us?

You can really see a clear draft strategy emerging now. Early on (2-3 years ago) it was shite we need to get rid of a heap of dead wood and draft kids. Over the the last 18 months we have continued to draft kids whilst also identifing and recruiting quality mature aged players to assist what HAD appeared to be a gap in talent between our 21/22 - 26/27 year old players. Great recruiting in my opinion.

The thought of loosing taz for nothing, is going to be long forgotten when the new boys are kickn some ass. And we got them for sweet f... all mmmmmzzzzzzzzuuuuuuuunnnnnnngggggggggguuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
sounds good .:)

Very happy with this, wanted us to snag either Krak or Mzungu. Of the mature non AFL listed players in the WAFL I rated them the most.

Faulks gives us cover for Tarrant/Grover and Mzungu gives us cover for Roger who slid a lot this year from his lofty heights and could be at the end come end of next year. Gives us options of playing Broughton in the midfield more in the shorter term.

Still fuzzy on how this works for GC - are they just listing a pre-list player only after being approached with an on trade for them? Is there anywhere a list of players they have actually signed?

Gees our footy dept is just going to keep building this list until we get there. They have come to terms with mature age recruitment and been proactive with the GC - :thumbsu:

Mzungu is just a great get, and really adds some depth in that all important 20 - 30 list spots.

Evasive and with pace - he is going be at home out on Pattersons ;).

Depth was our problem last year and this surely means that we are going to drop off another half dozen names from our list.

Competition for spots is going to be quite intense, can not wait to see what we are actually going to pull out of the hat come the draft.
