Actually I'm not so sure the head was moving now. If you focus on the bottom left of the video (the wheel) it's easy to see the whole camera is moving more than anything making it appear as though the head was moving. Maybe panning?
 
How do you know about the Desert Eagle? But it would have been the same to any pistol to the head.

His story makes sense if he was a whistle blower and they took him out. Exposure of war crimes in Afghanistan would be enough to get him killed. Revealing secrets about very advanced technology is more speculative.

Slightly strange is that he didn't try to hide his whereabouts. He chose the most trackable vehicle in the world and didn't turn off his phone.

Very strange indeed which makes me wonder about who really wrote the 'manifesto'.

Two guns found at the scene. The other gun is a semi-automatic rifle with the shortest barrel available, denoted 'pistol length' because of it's 10 inch barrel, but the total length of the gun is 28 inches.
