Sullivan is one of our main mids at the moment, i dont think it makes sense to make him sub until players get back

I’ve liked the bits of him that I’ve seen in the minimal VFL I’ve been able to watch thus far, so I’m excited to see what he can bring to the 1sts. Hope he grabs this opportunity with its hands and runs with it.

Definitely seems a bit premature. Similar to Ryan last year

He got better as the game went on I think. More confidence
People are being super harsh on him.
Will learn a lot from that debut and glad he had a little moment with the pass in creating a scoring opportunity before running off like Bambi with cramp.
You could see at times he was uncertain when to go and when not to. Will be a real player once he gains confidence and backs himself.

Did a few nice things but also a few bad things. He didn't look that far off it but he just wasn't ready.
I don't think it's harsh. I think it's just recognition that he's possibly not ready.

TJ wasn't ready. Not his fault. He'll be better for the experience. Leggy's spot is safe.

Getting games into guys like TJ, will just continue to make us stronger as the season progresses
Agree, Maynard is the perfect example of this in early days
Maybe Markov is safe from TJ, but he is unlikely to retain his spot in 2-3 weeks time.
Not physically ready yet, he is just too light atm.
