looked ok, although a little rusty.

Will be better for the run, and should be firing along after another couple of games

Correct! Will also be VERY important to improving our structure in a month or so coming into September. OP obviously hasn't got a ****ing clue.

I'm shitty because he shouldnt have played if he is not ready. Leave him in the VFL until he is ready and can have an impact.

Look at the tape. He didnt chase. He didnt tackle. He plodded instead of using his explosive speed...and the club has talked him up as the fittest and fastest there

I didnt see any of it last night which means he shouldnt be in the side yet

happy for people to disagree...but please keep the **** you's out of it. You wont hear it from me

Dont post rubbish and bag out players who have been injured and you wont get those replys.

you have got to be ****ing kidding me!!!!
first game back from a shoulder injury were he was out for a whole year, what do you expect, honestly **** off. Walker was fine and will be a star if his body allows him. Close this thread give him time, for someone who has gone through what he has gone through with his shoulders, he doesnt need ****ers like you bagging him. Its so obvious to tell you'r a bandwagoner so just **** off!
:thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:these so called supporters (surely not members) are a disgrace. He has missed multiple weeks with a full shoulder reco and peanuts on here wonder why he wasn't in the best players or taking overhead grabs and the like. They are just confirming that they should fuuu.ck off and support the gold coast fc as they know as much about footy as Harmichael ****!!!!!

I think some people create controversial threads for something to do or attention.

But I think Tex was ok, he had a few shots on goal, got his hands on it ran a bit, did a goal assist..but I wasn;t expecting a 'Juddesque' performance, I certainly would drop him.

Great to see him back, real guts and determination and deserves to wear the navy

If you are picked to wear that jumper in the 22, then you need to be ready.
So the run past Fev who dished off after marking, followed by the near perfect kick to Setanta in the goal square to set up a goal was nothing.....provided no run.......wasn't a handball receive........

You either have no idea who he is..........or you didn't watch the game.......or you're a troll.

Didn't have a blinder, but showed more than the guy who he replaced (Yarran) and will be better for the run.

My knowledge of the game must be diabolical!

Was at the game on Friday and paid particular notice of Walker and I couldn't of been happier with his comeback game.

Don't think we're going to see the best from Walks this year and rightly so.

Hopefully he can finish the rest of the season injury free and contribute. He will most likely be around our bottom 6 this year and next year will begin his quest for eliteness.

Did he even get a touch last night?

No explosive carry and run, no high marks, no making space

He looked very slow....and this is meant to be the fittest and fastest guy on our list. Didn't chase, no handball receives.....

Worst comeback I've seen for a long long time.

You are a FIRST CLASS MORON!!!

First game in the 1's for the year after ANOTHER reco and you are giving him a roast. Stop bloody complaining

Isn't that what I said???

I was just more blunt

Your are a deadset knob.....and this is why.

Walks had 13 or so touches and I dont have the paper with me but i'd say would have play 60/65% of the game at the most (I'm happy to be corrected) that mean if he had of played his usual 80 theres just about 20 touches..

He had 1 tackle, Murph had two, Hadley had none and there are more examples....you cant pin the tackle count of a player on whether they went hard enough.

Didn't see him fly for a hanger in the goal square?? Didnt see his work off the ball and shepherds? Deck harvey with the bad shoulder? Did he work hard defensively, did his opponent get a kick? Who was he on and on him? Were you even at the game?

He kicks that goal that hit the post and if Thornton didnt steal that one from him he would have had 2 goals and 14 touches and you would have said..ohh that was a pretty good return, because you are a baffoon!

Did you see his last game for the ants??? I didnt, but the match committee did who have a little bit of AFL experience and decided that he was ready to play at AFL level again...

You my friend are a muppett of the highest order, the team wins and pretty much secures its first finals birth in forever and you're roasting a bloke who has had 3 shoulder ops and worked his arse off to get back to the level of fitness required so he can play at AFL level and you decide to take a potshot....

I would have thought, grewat to see him out on the park and getting a few touches, flying for grabs and was unlucky not to kick a couple from very limited gametime would have been a much better summation??

Ahhh....rant over:mad:
