THANK YOU CHRIS JUDD - From a BELOVED Eagles FAN

I seriously doubt he wouldn't like a winning culture.
I seriously doubt he liked having to wonder how many of his teammated would be facing court charges and possible jail terms, or holidays in Malibu, at the end of every week.

Good onya Juddy, I'm glad we were one of the two teams fortunate enough to see you do yo thang in our colours. Wish it could have lasted longer but as they say such is life. Thanks for the memories and good luck!

If you believe what you're writing then that's a huge (and grossly unfounded)indictment on Juddy's character. You're saying that he's happy to hang around and lead the club for Grand Finals etc but when the going gets a little tough he's out of there.

What a load of shizen and just another example of the typically uninformed, turgid rubbish that is so overwhelmingly spewed from these forums.

I don't believe it mate. But Milkman probably does.

Good luck to him... Judd doesn't owe West Coast anything. He's performed brilliantly for them over six and captained them to a flag. Hopefully when the wounds aren't so raw, the idiot fans ready to burn him in effigy will realise that.

Still, it's a shame he's leaving. I would've preferred he stayed at the Eagles. As much as I dislike WCE, I can't stand the thought of Judd going to Essendon/Carlton/Collingwood and leading them to a flag. Who knows, maybe he'll do a Steven Gerrard and change his mind at the eleventh hour??? nahh not likely...

i am certainly hurting right now over the loss of judd. i do consider that he has turned his back on west coast, the club that loved him, nurtured him and gave him plenty of dough. i am disappointed that he's leaving, considering the season that he has had.

but i could never hate him, i could never boo him. i'll still cheer him, i'll still love him, i'll still leave the posters of him holding the cup last year on my wall.

i thank him, but damn i'm disappointed...

Not interested in debating fiction.

His best mate is Kerr FFS.

What does that tell you?

Disagree.

He left us at a time when we needed him most, as a club captain and coming off a painful season in the middle of a premiership window. No respect for him I'm sorry, although I do admire what he has given our club, which is why it probably hurts more that he has turned his back on us like this.

I think you easily forget how many Melbourne clubs lost great champions to come over and play in the west. It happens.

I love Chris Judd and always will.

But right now its a hard pill to take!!!

Our captain has just walked out and turned his back on us...most Eagles supporters will come around once the dust settles.

I won't be booing him next year because he has given so many great memories.

But right now I don't think too highly of him.

I mean geez - I had to make a new big footy account to get rid of my old username

I agree with you.
I ****ing love this kid and I cried for a good 20 minutes yesterday when i heard the news. I'm a chick so obviously I couldnt really admire to be like him, but If i was a guy deadset, Id want to be him. He is a living legend in my eyes. It just sucks big donkey balls that he would dog us out now. Fair enough in a couple of years, but not now. WE could win more flags over the next few years and our premiership captain and brownlow medallist just turns around and strolls on out because he misses his mum. Come on.
He's surprised and shocked me bigtime and it really makes my stomach churn when i think about him in other clubs colours.

I love you Chris Judd, but **** you! :( Why do you have to ruin my life?

Good luck anyways and please stay away from Collingwood. Eddie already stole one icon of our club ( ie. Mick) away from us, please, please dont make those *U*T* take another one.

P.s: I was considering changing my username but cbf.
P.p.s: I'm yet to determine whether i felt more guttered after the 05' GF loss or the way i feel right now.

LOL, some of you people take it way too seriously. It's a footballer - albeit a damn good one, leaving a club. He hasn't chosen to go into the PSD and leave us in the lurch, and IMO the player/s replacing him may improve our chances of winning the cup. Yeah he was an icon and we all loved him, but at the end of the day it's his life and his career so he shouldn't stay just to make us happy.

To be honest I think the only thing he did wrong was take the captaincy when he did, but I always thought they should have offered it to a natural leader on the field, that was never what Judd was about. Judd took the captaincy out of loyalty and a sense of duty, and it has made his decision to leave now look a lot worse than it is

Anyway, good luck Judd, it's been amazing!

cheers Juddy :thumbsu:

Judds a damn good player and its good to see him being respected and thanked, have to admit I popped onto one WC site and the hate by most fans is hard to believe. Then again football is a game of emotion which would explain some of the vicious, hateful vitriol that is being spouted. He gave you 6 years and never held back (in fact how injured is he? maybe this will be good for you guys), took the captaincy when he doesnt seem to be leader type material (and constantly had to suffer the whole spiritual leader Cuzz crap whilst doing so), a Brownlow helped in a GF win.
What the hell was he supposed to do before leaving? get that twiggy thing pregnant with his first kid lined up for the WC in 17 years b4 he goes?
