Paddy Ryder, arguably a very talented tap ruckman in his own right, never had a crap game against us. Whichever team he played for.

Not an ongoing thing, but Ben Ronke, a player picked at No. 17 in the 2017 rookie draft, kicked seven(!) goals and laid ten tackles against us in his third game. Such a performance is now a verb on the Hawthorn Board.

Ronke (verb):
"to deliver a performance significantly above expectations and perceived abilities"
With five goals to half time, he really ronked us!

Ben Keays turns into the second coming every time we play the Crom. Can't miss a target, kicks goals from anywhere on field and is simply untacklable.

Then he just casually goes back to spudding it up vs whoever they play the week after and repeats the cycle year after year.

He’s an interesting player Keays.

Never has a bloke ran so consistently hard and worked so much all day for so little value to his team.
