I don't mind the player review either. Slightly better than nothing.
Maybe if the show is cancelled they can just continue to do an annual Grand Final edition? Might be hard to get sponsors on board for a one off show though.

They kept Damian Barrett quiet for the whole show. Just saw a glimpse of him at the end. Disappointing.
Revue was just not the same. Best part of it was Brodie Holland but that was for the surprise element. Ladies doing Aretha were good too. Everything else I kind of expected.

The revue was back to what it should be, footballers embarrassing themselves with a lack of ability in performing. The worst thing they ever did was turn it into an overly rehearsed performance.
On other points, I hope Collingwood have an opponent on Saturday as it didn't seem to be the case and if we ever see another image of Cox's stupid looking parents with his bloody phone up to his face it will be too soon.

I have a friend who works in Crown's corporate areas, and he got tickets tonight, he mentioned that Crown execs had been told a few weeks ago that this was the last one.

Really liked the revue, the Aretha Franklin one was great. The show has a big time feel about it, you don’t really get this live production in this day and age, find it hard not to appreciate it.
The show provided plenty of great memories and there won’t be another like it at its peak.

Only watched parts of it as I mostly watched The Front Bar but from what I saw it was pretty awful and the Collingwood lovefest with Eddie & co was sickening.
The Scared Weird Little Guys were the only highlight and they aren't a regular part of the show so not exactly a glowing endorsement for it to go on next year.

That was the best The Footy Show show I'd seen in 10 years.
But possibly because of all the classic Sam moments and the West Coast are playing in the Grand Final.
I can't picture Channel 7 ever doing anything that grand. 25 years is a kinda good number of years for it to bow out.
