On my list of seriously consider due to injury discounts:
Jaensch, Keefee (if he comes back), Trengrove, Tunbridge

Rocky will be good value too regardless.

Looking at that list my MIDs are done once you throw in two rookies

So your midfield will be GAJ, Watson, Prestia, Libba, OMeara, Crouch, DSwallow, Petracca?

Actually it's normally selection night Round 1.

I am still dumbfounded Steele didn't debut until halfway through the year. He was my Round 1 smokey, along with MightyMark

Well he is looking good now, and I guess its good to have some talent debut mid season, gives you some confidence with the bench cover towards the end of the season.

If he debut early, he would have been traded out like most of the starting rookies.

I can see Gaz, Rocky, Libba and Sloane being in majority of the starting teams.
Will have to find a way to start with those blokes + Pendles & Fyfe.

Petracca could well be the most owned player, should keep his DPP status too.


Other mids like Crouch and all the injured GC guns should be at tasty prices.


Mumford in the rucks.

Hopefully some mids like Mundy, Griffen etc gain DEF DPP status.

Doubt Dusty will keep his DPP. Gray too.

Averages shows that only 3 of the years previous top 10 retain there spot the next year. Those guys are all a chance.

A lot of options from the suns. Ablett, Omeara, Prestia and Swallow all gonna be value.

Bryce Gibbs will also be very cheap compared to past seasons. Hope he leaves Carlton.

Not sure yet, depends on pricing.

If they're bloody cheap, that midfield and full Premo forward/ruck lines would mean I could spend the first ten rounds upgrading MIDs as they max out instead of rookies while still scoring big. Sure, cash generation wouldn't be as great, but who needs cash if you've already got a close to complete team.

ill still back in who i think will be the top 5 mids like i always doat the start of the season. this year i went gaz, fyfe pendels, danger, selwood.

works for me every year.
