Who has just had gutfull ?

Who is sick of... year after year ... getting on forums like this , over beers with mates ... around the water coolers at work ... etc etc etc .... banging on about

"We are going to turn it around:rolleyes:"

"How we are going to turn it aronnd:rolleyes:"

"Who we need to get as coach:rolleyes:"

"Our next 5 year plan:rolleyes:"

"Our kids are coming on:rolleyes:"

Do you think it will ever get to the point where we all just go ...."F... this" ??

I just can`t believe that after "So much promise again pre-season" ... here we all are again ... Groundhog day .

The indigenous australians hounded politicians for decades to get an official "I`m sorry" out of them .... I want to see key figures from administrations past all on the steps of the Richmond townhall , with an appointed speaker to represent them all , apologising to all of us for all the misery the club has inflicted upon the most resilient and loyal group of supporters in the country.

I was gonna start a happy thread to try and bouy the spirits of Tigers across the land ... but quite rightly you've knocked that on the head...what was I thinking?

Sometimes when you hear the words "Richmond Football Club" mentioned you just ask yourself, why? And how? And when?

Sadly these questions are almost impossible to answer :(

I'm not going to alive for the next 5 year plan

yep is a tough gig at punt rd thats why the job requires a sheedy or malthouse to turn the ship around EXPERIENCE is what counts in these situations, somewhat that has succeeded in building a wining team time and again.... to back a rookie to succeed, well **** me, he'd need to be Lord Nelson and Napoleon rolled into one:rolleyes:

I'd easy say F__k this but the thing is, you can't. It's like brainwashing, it just can't happen. But yes, I feel your pain IDGAF.

I actually think opposition supporters are beyond bagging us aswell. They can't be ****ed either because we've got nothing anyway!

Oh they'll never stop bagging us,I guarantee it.

yep. maybe if we all stop caring the club will actually change. i was thinking that if terry is sacked (yeah pretty likely) everyone should hate the coach from the outset because if we do the regular thing in reverse he might actually turn out to turn things around instead of the usual - everyone thinks he is the saviour and then we are all disapointed. lets do the oposite because we are always wrong.

I just wish everyomne would show a bit of patience.

JON is only in his fourth year? What do you expect? he has already played 10 games!! Give him time. He will have played 20 games by the time he is in his 8th year.

Hughesy is only in his third year and is finding his feet in the coburg ressies. Hopefully he will be ready to play Coburg seniors by the years end. he was an all australian CHF after all

i understand that petrified has now turned into a tackling machine and will lay tackle after tackle when he comes back.

Give him time..it is only his 8th year.

Patience gentleman!

It's in my blood. I can't jump ship even if I wanted to. I'm yellow and black until the day I die.
We will not be shite for the next 25 years. It won't happen.
It will turn around eventually. I know we've been saying this forever, but it will turn around at some stage (when I don't know, but it will).
And when it does turn around, the whole competition will wish we hadn't.
Then and only then, will the AFL and 17 other clubs' supporters know the true meaning of the Tiger Army.
When we win another flag, football will not have seen, nor will see, celebrations like it.
I hope I'm around to see it. It will happen.

JON and hughes were taken in the same draft:rolleyes:

I'm with you Tugga.
And IDGAF, think you want "malevolent" not "benevolent."
Weaver made a great post one day that I will never forget.
he said that other teams' supporters have won their flags by being dropped onto the top of the mountain by a helicopter and given a free ride there.
When we reach the top of the mountain, we will have walked all the way up by ourselves with a full backpack on and the view will be more sweeter for us than it will be for any of them.

I'll still show up to games because I know this is the best list we've had since 1982. Well once we delist the final 6-8 players at the end of the year and replace most of the 30+ year olds with 18 year olds and delist the other 3 or 4 players which aren't going anywhere. This rebuild is taking a while but it really had to take longer than the Hawks rebuild. Firstly because Tiger supporters wouldn't dare want to finish down the bottom in terry's first couple of years. We had to play a few less kids than the Hawks because at least Hawk fans had premierships to enjoy in the 80s and early 90s followed by a quiet decade which was not even half as long as what we've put up with. We also had more quality players in the late 20's than they did when Terry took over and some of those players have slowed us down this year. But we held onto them as we expected them to have a couple more good years left. In the end, our list will come out very similar in quality to theirs imo. Probably in a year or 2 our list will be very good. That's why I would like to keep Terry, because we'll be going places when the list is ready with him in charge but at the moment he has 3 or 4 kids who have played less than 10 games, 2 or 3 veterans and the rest of the players are still a couple of years from their peak

Great call i agree be foolish to get rid of terry half way thru his ten year tan,, i mean plan.

Ah ha ha ha, did you see what he did there? He said "tan" instead of "plan." That's funny. Not quite as funny as the one millionth time we heard it but still really funny.

Absolutely SPOT ON!!

I'm not one to post often (just like to read all you boy's banter), but enough is enough.
I go every bloody week with the missus & kids(8 &10) and nothing changes. After the Melbourne loss we had driven the length of Bridge Road before anyone could speak.
Rushed home from jnr footy to watch last weeks game on the tv full of hope. After a pathetic 1st half I still had some optimism left in me. And with good reason.
Any other side would have over run the Swans, but not us!
Poor decision making
Terrible skill errors
Poor tackling.....again
Missed crucial set shots @ goal

One day, surely, it will get better, but me like many others are running out of patience.:mad:

LMAO @ IDDY venting now........ :thumbsu:

I vented after the Carlton game, I'm now like the club and just going through the motions, in true Richmond style.

Richmond till I die be it through suicide

how long will it be, if the tigers and demons stay on bottom, will we hear that dreaded word - merger. i wonder if by then anyone will care.

few more factors come into play than the current onfield plight darth as in the capacity to ever be a viable BUSINESS is prob most significant as afl begins to direct their support to blue sky ventures up north as opposed to propping up Melb based sides. The basis for the viablity of our club is sound even if the on field side is anything but:confused:
