Nothing brings out Art Vandelay_ 's insecurities like WA and T20. With how much he talks about I'd assume he was an obsessed fan. And this point he's paying us to rent inside his head.

To be honest it would be getting a bit stale if the WA and Scorchers weren't constantly choking away games this season.

You haven't heard his ramblings about Hawthorn?

You do love outdated references.

Among my recent remarks on Hawthorn on this board.

  • Defended them Re: retorts about cheating. Stating they're well run and wouldn't resort to such things.
  • Commented that Carlton and others would want to get a move on with their flag window because a club that knows how to win just fixed their major weakness.
  • Defended them Re: accusations about how they conducted themselves chasing Barrass.

You can check if you want.

Completely caught by surprise this series, it crept right up. Don’t mind the dropping of Konstas.

Beautiful part of the world is Galle and I’m mainly tuning in this afternoon for the scenery. What a pummelling otherwise the match is turning out to be.

Series like this need to continue to be in the schedule.
Test cricket cannot just be the 3 powerful nations of Eng, Ind and Aus all just playing each other and raking in the revenue their broadcasters provide.

Everyone needs a slice of the pie and SL cricket getting some cash off Channel 7 so we can watch this helps.

Great place to watch cricket and a decent view sitting on the fort

Australia A smashing the English Lions too. 9/373D, Patterson and Philippe tons. Rolled them for 116 (Sutherland 3/7 off 5, Doggett 3/17 off 7), sent them back in and have them 2/116 at stumps.

As much as it is nepotism, Rockie Flintoff actually looks decent and is only 16? Will be interesting to see how he tracks

Good day for the Sutherland family.

Prodigy. Has been dominating youth cricket over here.
Youth cricket though. We've seen plenty of players dominate youth cricket and not do anything. Patrick Page from SA is one that comes to mind. Never played a FC game, dominated the U17 championship with an average of 78.

More a comment on nepotism. I don't think it is. The Poms are not afraid of throwing guys into the test team when they are young off the back of good FC performances. He is already playing Div 1 County championship batting at 4/5. Wouldn't be surprised if they throw him in the deep end if he can get his average up around 40.

With a highest score of 32 in 7 innings. To me it's nepotism. Dominating 2nd Xi/youth cricket shouldn't get you a gig in the young lions team. It does if your father is the coach.

No issue with it personally. He's only 16 and it'll be a good experience for him that could pay dividends at a later date for England. We've sent Ollie Peake to SL and he's not even capped for his state yet.
