From what I've heard ASADA have not made a final decision on the players and this is the interim report for the AFL so it could action it before the finals, any final decision involving players will not be made until later in the year.

What I have enjoyed about the whole thing is that it has proven that the AFL despite its' claims that it is a world leader in the fight on drugs, it is actually trailing every other major sporting code in the world and its war on drugs in all smoke and mirrors. The AFL has never taken a stance on a major issue which will cause a split in public opinion, it has always taken the middle road and let people vent on talkback radio and websites, knowing full well that it will die down when the next issue pops up. This is different and they are still hiding from it and will continue to do so until someone pushes them to make a stance, Demetriou plays on public perception the man has no balls to make a stand on something.

I wonder what happened to Hexarelin and thymosin beta 4? Surely evidence they used these substances has come to light by now. We had numerous BF posters who were convinced Essendon had systematically cheated with these PEDs. Interum report or not, wheres the proof guys?

Mike Sheahan on the couch seems convinced this is effectively the final report with a possibility of ammendment after Dank is interviewed.

thats flatly not true. I personally delete gif and image posts wherever i find them. If I find them - the board moves at a rapid pace and I wont catch stuff thats not reported. This is not a lets troll Essendon board, it never has been, however much Essendon supporters believe it is. I wish posters would make up their minds, on the one hand, Im being accused daily of favouring Essendon supporters by non Essendon supporters, and on the other hand, im accused by Essendon supporters of not being fair to them.

ANd this is the thing that most are forgetting, the AFL already have a detailed report from Ziggy which described the pharmalogical culture at EFC which will be enough for them to act against officials at the club.

The players will most probably escape sanction, but the club and certain officials won't.
