I don't know. She was professional. Probably had her set question lined up that were pertinent. She just got thrown a curve ball. Happens a lot. Someone said the negative spin on this also promotes the big bash. I think this is marketing in a way.So why not get a robot to do her job then?
I think that he knows her very well to be honest.
Hence her reaction.
Again, with the benefit of hindsight, it appears that Gayle is a bit of a sleaze, (or maybe worse), so deserves some of this anger.
However, I still maintain that the initial reaction was WAY over the top, and quite ridiculous.
I think the term 'baby' is a very West Indian one btw, so are we all het up over sexism or cultural difference?

And she couldn't deal with being put on the spot. Not a good look.I don't know. She was professional. Probably had her set question lined up that were pertinent. She just got thrown a curve ball. Happens a lot.
Possibly.Someone said the negative spin on this also promotes the big bash. I think this is marketing in a way.
She'll make a good news journalist, not so much on an entertainment show.Honestly they need to find someone better. There's a huge contrast between the 2-3 guys in the commentary box talking shit all game, and her taking the odd interview she does WAY too seriously, the whole BBL series is about fun and atmosphere and I'm not sure how she fits. I'm not saying she's wrong in taking offence to the whole thing...... Gayle clearly said the wrong thing to the wrong person in-front of a few million people, but it's pretty obvious she takes her job a little too seriously for an environment like BBL.
How do you know that?
Because Gayle has played in the BBL for a few seasons?
This is far from the first interview between the two?
In all likelihood the crew and players socialise to a certain extent...if even casual conversations off camera.
They probably stay in the same hotels when on the road and cross paths?
Realistic or not?
You didn't answer my question though: What was the point of him saying that?
God I hope they don't waste too much air time on it during tonight's coverage.

You know they will
Just look at how much time has been spent on it in the Bay alone

Discrimination is fine as long as the person is white, male and heterosexual.
She needs to put down her Germaine Greer book and educate herself on gender equality academia, she quite clearly doesn't understand that there's two sides to every argument.
