I wonder if people now understand why the majority of people are sick by these double standards pulled on Chris Gayle and the other guy getting a free pass practically.

If your a celebrity you're not a pedo until you're caught doing it multiple times by various witnesses who come out decades after the incident after they have grown up... Rolf Harris, Bill Cosby, pedophile priests... one incident isn't enough for those in power. You get about 20 chances. There are more examples too I can't think of... Gary Glitter, R. Kelly, Roman Polanski...

It's precisely the insane reactions of a f*cked up society to a bit of harmless flirting by a self-proclaimed womaniser that makes me certain there'll be utter blindness in response to an actual child molester who passes himself off as a squeaky clean celebrity.

I wasn't outraged by the Gayle thing but I didn't think it was appropriate.
This Soccer thing though looks fking wrong.

Am I right or wrong? I need you guys to tell me how to think.

OK Good Old, here's what you should think:

1. What a sad boring world we live in where all compliments to female colleagues about their appearance are now branded as inappropriate. Many women enjoy a bit of harmless sexual banter and don't appreciate having others decide for them what's appropriate and what's not - and men need to stop tiptoeing around women for fear of being accused of saying or doing something wrong for the slightest bit of nonsensical trivia. The more compliments I get from men the better, especially on national television.

2. The soccer thing didn't "look" fking wrong. It WAS fking wrong.

OK seeya. Hope that helps.:thumbsu:

That creep Rita Panahi
Don't do twitter but remain blind hopeful that when Australia wakes up brighter in the morning, the fact that it's more a lover's than a father's touch is there in the cold light of a warm day for all to shake their heads and admit.
The entire thing makes badgers go straight.

Yeah I trust your judgment. Hope anyone that finds anything posts it here.

EDIT: How's this for hard-hitting analysis? Slick dick tells a UK paper it's his daughter so it's OK

Plus some anodyne spin from the BBC: all he did was "brush" his hand her chest. Quotes one positive tweet in his defence. Nothing else.

But no room for doubt when you watch the video angle in UK's Liverpool Echo:

A f***ing men.

So that's comment from Ireland and before that from England.

Still waiting for comment from the Australian media. That creep Rita Panahi normally laps up this stuff. Noticed she shutup pronto on Twitter as soon as she piped up about it.

Yeah I trust your judgment. Hope anyone that finds anything posts it here.

I despair that people can go out of their way to defend behaviour to an innocent child like this.

This is in no way an appropriate way to touch a child, regardless of whether you fathered the unfortunate thing.

Try it on with my daughters and, after they'd bashed you, I'd have you down my favourite well with a few bags of builders lime eating your bones.

In my opinion, this isn't blowing up because things like this make people uncomfortable. It's the reason most rape cases fail, and guys like Cosby & Rolf Harris don't get charged till it's too late. People don't want to admit or make public that these things happen because it makes them uncomfortable.

The thing is, even if it was meant as an innocent hug, she's at an age, and as the father he should know, that hands just should not be put in that position.
