The Big Coney Island Compendium of Milestones Volume Three New
1726134022416.png

Well Sweet, I'm at it again. In a move seems to be more controversial than it actually is, I have returned with the third edition of the Coney Island Compendium of Milestones. This method of combined celebrations first came to light with a 400-game shindig for three of Coney Island's finest at the end of last season, then re-emerged a few weeks ago with another three heart and soul Wazzas adding up their 600 games of champagne qooty and having themselves a helluva hootenanny. We got to acknowledge each of them, and the sim put aside its usual biases and gave us victories on both occasions.

And so we come to this week, where in the spirit of admiration and consistency we add another volume to the Compendium with two esteemed gentlemen coming together to salute another 600 games of qooty. Like last time I'll do separate threadmarked posts, and for the first one (which is also the biggest milestone that I have acknowledged in such a way) there will be a familiar throwback to an earlier milestone.

Let's get to it.

To paraphrase the late great Sean Lock, The Filth Wizard cannot be defined by words but more as a fragrance. However that medium does not translate too well on an Internet forum, so I invited a special guest to put some words together. You may remember last season when Filthy put together a tribute to his brother pantskyle when he notched up his 150th game for the Warriors. Well I asked pantskyle if he would like to repay the favour, to which he replied:
I don't care about him at all.

He then went away and had a bit of a think about it, and in a fit of inspiration he put pen to paper.

And this is what he came back with:

An Ode to My Brother, the Filth Wizard

In the vast expanse of pixelated dreams,
Where warriors clashed and laughter screams,
A legend arose, with a title so grand,
They called him the Filth Wizard, ruling the land.

Now, gather 'round, let me spin you a tale,
Of my brother's escapades, where no one could fail.
Four hundred matches, a milestone indeed,
But in his wacky world, he’s the ultimate breed.

With fingers a-flyin' like a caffeinated bee,
He cast spells of mischief for all to see.
His tactics, like wizardry, unruly and wild,
In the realm of SFA, he was gleefully reviled.

“Fear not, little brother,” he’d cheer as I’d rage,
“Watch me conjure disaster from the digital stage!”
As I, Pantskyle the orangutan so spry,
Became an unwitting victim, just trying to fly.

Oh, the times he’d trip over his own two feet,
Casting fireballs at foes he couldn’t defeat.
With an orcish cackle and a spill of his drink,
He’d plunge into battle, not stopping to think.

His wizardly roguishness, a sight to behold,
With charms and with chants, his stories were bold.
“Let me show you this move,” he’d declare with some glee,
Then promptly knock over a plant named “Mister Pea.”

There were moments of brilliance—a glorious game,
When he’d score with style, then abandon all shame,
He’d dance like a chicken, his face aglow,
While I’d scream in the chat, “Dude, where'd you go?”

Yet what truly astounded like magic so bright,
Was how he'd turn losses into sheer delight.
For no defeat brought him sorrow or dread,
Instead, he’d guffaw, “Don’t worry, ‘I’m dead!’”

So, here’s to you, brother, the Filth Wizard true,
With your antics and laughter, there’s no one like you.
Four hundred matches, but who’s counting the score?
In the game of our lives, you’re what I adore.

From the realms of the pixel to our home’s cozy den,
May we play and create countless more tales again.
A toast from me, Pantskyle, your faithful fan,
To the Filth Wizard, my brother, my plan!

So lift up your controller, let’s set the world straight,
In this pixelated playground, we’ll soon dominate.
Here’s to laughter and fun—one thing will stay true:
Whether we lose or we win, I just love playing with you!

Just beautiful!

If you're more of a numbers & achievements person, I've got you covered there too.

The other third of the games to make up this volume of milestonepalooza comes from the one and only Reginald Perrin. A one club player who has been around since the dawn of the Warriors, Reg is another like Filthy who has spent quite a bit of his qareer in the goal square. The rest he has spent at a poker table and in Tasmania, but this week he plays his 200th game of qooty for not only the Wazzas but in the SFA.

Here's what the numbers tell us:

Congrats on your big old things, The Filth Wizard and Reginald Perrin!

Oh, and on your 400th and 200th as well.

So does that mean Filthy's is twice as long as Reggie's?

Bloody hell the Wazza's just keep racking up the Milestones which is befitting of such a legendary qlub. Now that the Sim likes us in multi-milestone games I'm sure we'll get the dub for these 2 legends. Congratulations The Filth Wizard and Reginald Perrin !

A belated congratulations The Filth Wizard on your 400th . You have achieved everything there is to achieve onfield and yet such a top bloke who is always willing to lend an ear /help behind the scenes . Thank you for everything . I am stoked to see that your beloved Wazzas got up for you too

Congratulations Reginald Perrin on 200 games, a rusted on Wazza and ripper of a clubman. Just the 7th Wazza to register 200 games at the club. :thumbsu:

And while we know he wouldn't approve of this thread, a big congratulations to the head honcho The Filth Wizard on 400 games of sheer audacious excellence.

Bummed we got the win for you given that's about as unWazza as it gets, but oh well. 🤗
