Hopefully we go all out and buy a superstar rather than hedging our bets and getting 2 only solid players like Barry and Lennon (which has been reported). How is he overrated? He's turned crap teams into successful teams time and time again. He's got a proven record, he's done it time and time again. He's a brilliant manager, if Chelsea aren't knocked out by us, they'll win the champions league

what annoys me even more is that uefa dont reward the team with the higher aggregate from the previous tie.

we should be playing home second as we won 5-0 and chelsea only won 3-2

i know we would get the home game second if we made it to the semis

but they need to reward teams for their previous results

if anything the draw should be based on the ranking points of teams to make it more fair.

however to be the best you have to beat the best, thats what the champions league is all about.

Firstly its make a fair and balanced draw... then its organise it from previous results to make the draw "fair" if Liverpool get a bad one...

And how can you compare results from different matches. Is beating Sporting Lisbon by 11 goals harder then beating Real Madrid by 5

And let me guess, you want to give teams that have to play "tough" second round games extra consideration... such as the team that played the team that has won this competition the most...

UEFA arent stupid. That may well be anti English (can we agree on that?), but they are a business. They need to make money, and giving United a armchair ride to the final is a way to do this.

Arsenal are crap. They will struggle to beat Villareal and then, if they do get by the yellow subs, they will not get pass United.

Liverpool couldnt be put on the same side of the draw as United, same as Chelsea. They might actually beat them.

Barca was put on the side United wasnt as United is the best team, and Uefa wanted Barca to make the final.
