-1 par today. Nursing one of the all time great hangovers so I’ll take it!

One to forget today
Round 1 of the club champs tomorrow. Last year I was the overall net leader at the 13th but had 7 shots in the greenside bunker on 14 to wipe out. This year my bunker game is much better but I get 3 less shots than a year ago and my form lately has been putrid.
So you say there’s a chance?
34 today
+4 net which isn’t bad for me given how I’ve played lately. Played the back 9 first and struggled until the turn. Lipped out a few putts coming home which would have made it an even better finish. Up and down out of the bunker in front of a large crowd in the clubhouse deck on the 9th was a good way to finish. Still in contention next week. Irons need work but bunker play was solid.
