Also why Klopp is a better manager than me... :D

In FM im 2-0 up with 20 minutes to go, I put on my shiny new toys in Shaqiri and Fabinho.

Yet Klopp has no such thoughts haha.
Tbh not sure about messing with a very very tight defensive unit for the last 10 minutes when we're away against a quality side

Onto the Champions League next. Going to be a cracker of a game I reckon against PSG. Hopefully we can get the job done, keep the perfect start going and secure a big step to getting out of the group with a first up win.

Thrilled with the result, with better decision making in the final third we would've and should've knocked in 5 or 6. Have to say though its been a long time since I saw a Spurs team so lackadaisical. There must've been at least a dozen occasions when they coughed up possession under no pressure. Anyway, **** Spurs.

Hope Firmino's okay. He's hit top form. Goal against Leicester, for Brazil during the break and now tonight.

Roberto Firmino was discharged from a London hospital this afternoon after receiving good news on the eye injury he sustained during Liverpool's 2-1 win at Tottenham Hotspur.

The forward was sent for assessment having been forced from the field in the second half of the Reds’ Wembley victory.

A hospital examination confirmed an abrasion of the eye, but there will be no lasting damage.

The issue will be monitored and treated by Liverpool’s medical staff at Melwood before any decision is made on whether Firmino will be able to figure in Tuesday evening’s Champions League encounter with Paris Saint-Germain at Anfield. At this stage, the No.9 has not been ruled out.

Firmino travelled back to Merseyside separately from his teammates with club doctor Andy Massey following the positive assessment.

The players and staff onboard the club flight back to Liverpool sent the Brazilian a video wishing him well, recorded on the team plane.

Control the midfield and cut supplies to their front 3, their back 4 can be got at. Verratti isn't playing, so it'll be Rabiot + some bloke

We probably should go in unchanged, but wouldn't be surprised if Henderson starts, or Shaqiri in for Bob if he ain't fit
Surely it's time we rotate. We've changed the team I think once when Henderson started one league game for Keita. Other than that, it's been the same XI all season. But it is a huge game so maybe not. Just worried that they might be tired.

If we do best XI I'd expect a few changes for Southampton at home next weekend. But every league game is super important. Tough job.

Watched some PSG highlights of their past few matches, holy shit it's a shit league.

When was the last time they even played a side with our intensity?

They still have some very dangerous players not to be taken lightly. I think Klopp will go with the same 11 before he starts the rotations with only Firmino to miss if he doesn’t recover from his injury in time.

Will be interesting to see if we see Fabinho or Henderson in the starting XI on Wednesday morning.

And if Firmino doesn't come up, who will take his place.

I think if Klopp basically doesn't rotate for this game, he can give most guys a rest in either the Southampton PL game or the League Cup.

Before the Spurs game Klopp pretty much said Henderson is being rested for the PSG game so he’ll start. Not sure which of the midfielders he replaces but I reckon that’ll be the only change.

Next midweek is the league cup and that’s where I’d be making 11 changes. I think Chelsea will do similar as well because of Europa League.
