So far we have tried to sign (if you believe the rumors) Lavezzi, Cavani, Falcao, Rues & Sanchez.
And we got none of these because they do not believe that Liverpool is a big enough club or they do not want to live in the wonderful city of Liverpool.
So we finally seem to be getting a world class player and we are being picky.
Please, we need him to succeed in the PL & CL.
I fully support BR.

Have faith in BR.

Considering other sales this summer. £16m is peanuts. Good business.

Worst comes to worst he sits on the bench and is the perfect in between quality striker everyone wanted between rickie and studge

*to the tune of the Suarez song*

"His name is Super Mario, he wears the famous red, I just can't get enough, I just can't get enough.
When he scores a volley, or when he scores a head, I just cant get enough, I just cant get enough.
He scores a goal and the kop goes wild, and I just can't seem to get enough Marioo.
da da dada dadadaa Baaaloooteeelliiii"

Does anyone believe Rodgers genuinely wants Balotelli, after what he said just a week or so ago? Or that just the other day, in light Suarez leaving he said "no one is bigger than the club". If there's one person who'll test that it's Mario. This seems like a decision made in the boardroom by our 'transfer committee'.

He might be great for us but in terms of risk I think I'd rather take a chance on Remy keeling over on the pitch.

BR just knows he's going to walk the EPL and UCL double. He's looking for a challenge.

And more seriously he will take one or two defenders, freeing up CSS.

Im totally bi polar on this one.

One minute im thinking what a terrible decisions, he is lazy, will disrupt the dressing room and doesnt take football seriously.

The next im thinking, 16 million pounds? Really? What a ****ing bargain for a bloke with every single thing in his locker.

I guess we will just have to watch and see.

16 million pounds though when Borini was being touted to be sold for 14. How can you seriously turn that down.

Still haven't heard anything official...
And how there are articles floating around that we are offering Eto a one year deal.
Nothing official true but the AC Milan president I think it was, was directly quoted saying he was leaving the training complex saying his goodbyes to everyone. It's definitely happening.

So we'll have a #45 and a #50 in the starting lineup regurlarly.

Actually don't mind this love players having high numbers.

Think this deal is actually a very good calculated risk, 16 Million for a player like Balotelli is great business even if he does screw up we should be able to get something close to that transfer fee back.

Only thing remaining to finalise the deal is agreeing to his conduct clause (LFC want assurance) - hopefully this is not stumbling block .. Good piece of business if we get him over the line ;) .. YNWA
