Don't get me wrong, the side is only lost 1 game... but I hope we don't burn out our players, as in games like this we aren't rotating our players much...
I'm not saying it's wrong but I would of liked to see more
I agree but also understand we need to bank points in the CL early. Few of the other big guns have dropped points already which could help us secure a top 8 spot and two less games in the knock out stage.

And the ability to rotate isn’t really there with so many players sold in summer and no Chiesa or Elliott tonight.

Nice win though, fair strike by Mo.

Lineup for Palace

-------------------------Ali------------------------

Trent-------Jogo--------VVD---------Robbo

----------Macca-------Grav-------Curtis

-----Mo--------Darwin------ Gakpo

We're looking really light in mid with Thiago leaving, Baj on loan & now Harvey out with a broken foot. Just Curtis & Endo as depth right now in midfield. Technically Morton is an option however Slot doesn't seem to see him as an option currently.

If we cop an injury or two in midfield we're in deep shit. Seems Slot isn't putting his faith in McConnell & Nyonyi just yet.

I'd almost be tempted to start Endo in the lineup on Saturday if Grav needs a rest - we simply can't afford to lose Grav right now.

Looking at the stretch of games from Nov to end of Dec, don't see how we wouldn't get burned out, it's crazy

Should've been more proactive on the market but hey it's the same old story

This. I see a run of poor results in December from burnout.

I don't see how we can get through it without Morton / Nyonyi stepping up massively. We're so light in midfield it's not funny.

Maybe another option is converting Gakpo into a temporary midfielder with our forward line depth however he won't be of any use in the double pivot role. Only as a replacement for Szo / Elliot.

You take those, we played ok which seems like a running theme this season but we keep winning games soooo...

As you guys have been talking about the lack of rotation from Arne is interesting, screams burnout as the season rolls on.

I thought midweek at home to a middling Italian side, I would have expected starts for Tsimikas, Gomez, Quansah, Jones, Endo, Gakpo... but we just went with the exact same XI we always choose with just Nunez for Jota the only difference.
