That was a lovely game. We switched off a few times defensively but I never felt we were really in any danger. I think we will be much tighter once Ibou comes back, like we were earlier in the season.

Scoring six is great though, away to Spurs a traditional big six team and to thrash them like we did. Sets down a marker now and right after Chelsea dropped points.

4 clear of Chelsea, 6 clear of Arsenal and 12 clear of City still with a game in hand!

Merry ****ing Christmas!

Pumped up the GD by 3 which could be important come May. Tremendous performance, especially by Szo and Mac.

Some of the build up play for the goals was as good as our 19/20 campaign. Just showing that bit more patience at times which worked perfectly against a leaky Spurs.

Ange be lucky to survive the week won’t he?

I hope that you’re wrong. Ange is missing his whole back 4 and the keeper and they still haven’t backed him in the transfer market. Still, sometimes you have to be a little more pragmatic with your playing style.

This score line doesn’t surprise me at all. How bad was the Spurs keeper during this game? Especially in the third minute. We are blessed to have Kelleher as a backup.

Don’t get me wrong, I want him to stay and he clearly hasn’t been given enough support by the chairman, but they aren’t the most patient fan base.

Do we go into Leicester with the same 11 or make some changes to keep fresh for West ham away? I'd think about starting Tsimikas, Elliot, Nunez and maybe even Curtis. You never want to disrupt momentum but I think it'll be tougher going away to West Ham.

Good chance for Grav & Virg to get a rest I feel.

If the game goes well I'd sub Mo for Harvey at 60 mins too.

Jerzy Dudek, Djibril Cisse, Robbie Keane, Fabio Aurelio and Djimi Traore the first batch of players confirmed for LFC Legends vs Chelsea.

The definition of "LFC Legend" seems to be quite broad these days. Is Ricky Lambert going to get a call up?

It's just like the EJ Whitten Legends game. Just random past players.
