Doak was very good against Croatia. Regularly taking on and beating Gvardiol. He plays in the same position as Mo so it will be interesting what happens if they are both at Liverpool next season.

Doak still has a problem with his end product. Being dangerous and taking on the LB is his best trait.

He's got a few goals and assist already on loan thought this season at Boro hasnt he?

I'd love to see him stay at Liverpool next season and be able to give Mo a rest in some games and play cup games etc.

1 goal and 3 assists in 10 games.

He was possibly Boro's best player against Luton. Got past Gvardiol several times against Croatia but needed better players to finish his work. He's only just turned 19 so you would think he's got plenty of improvement to come.

There is some chatter around that Trent was waiting to see what Mo and VVD did.
Mo and VVD signing will put huge pressure on Trent.

On the Salah stuff and his not getting decisions, it is sad - but Sarah brings that on himself because he plays the game to fair. He simply does not (or very rarely) go down. All the histrionics of football are a sad indictment on the game - but it works.

He should just be signing despite what those guys do. He's a scouser. He's living his dream. I just dont understand why he wouldnt sign.
Cause if those two go Liverpool are screwed. I think TAA wants two things;
  1. He wants to know how strong Liverpools ambition is - no transfers and a new coach in the offseason might have put him off a little. Caoch is obviously working out fine - not sure yet about the transfers.
  2. He wants to get paid - and he deserves to get paid.

Mamardashvili started in Georgia's 1-1 draw with Ukraine.
Koumas made a sub appearance in Wales' 0-0 draw with Turkiye.

Gakpo scored a pen, and VVD and Gravenberch started in Netherlands' 4-0 win vs Szoboszlai's Hungary.

I get number two, he should and will surely get paid.

But I dont really buy number one. He's a born and bred scouser, grew up loving Liverpool FC. His idol is Steven Gerrard and his dream every since he was a kid was to play for Liverpool. Whether we suck or not shouldnt be part of it. The dream shouldnt be to play for Liverpool but only if we're good.

Stevie G maximised his career despite playing so much of it with poor teammates and bad managers. But he stuck around cos Liverpool was him home and his dream. Trent always says the same stuff. Sooo honestly it shouldnt matter what VVD and Mo are doing or possible transfers and the new coach.

If he loves Liverpool and Liverpool FC then he should stay regardless IMO.

Bingo, there is still a prestige with playing for Real

Looks set to join Owen and McMannaman as local players to go join Real

We need a replacement for a Trent with a hyphenated surname. He is him

Yes Liverpool has the most history and cultural identity out of all the top flight EPL teams. And yes he was born and raised in Liverpool. But at the end of the day, we as fans know its a business. If we rely on being born and raised as a selling point, it will fill the "feel good" coffers, but at days end what is best for the club comes first.

Do we know whether he loves LFC that much that he will ignore any other club overtures?
