So basically our coach has NFI when it comes to picking a team, I thought it'd be fun to keep a tally over the year on how we rate the selections.
Round 0: Spargo selected out of nowhere and was terrible, Billings sub. Bigfooty wins
Round 1: Brown/TMac selected, TMac surprisingly good and team plays well. Goody wins
Round 2: Pick a stupidly tall team and we either make Petty sub which seems awful, or Windsor is sub which makes our team awful. Goody makes Hore sub because he foresaw May and Lever getting hurt, Goody wins
Round 3: Board agrees with Goodys decisions, Woey sub which makes sense. Draw
Round 4: Board isn't sure about keeping Brown in nor playing May, May pays off but Brown is useless (And Oliver was clearly inhibited). Draw
Round 5: Browns continued selection irks certain posters on here, unless Woewodin is sub there isn't much else to criticize though. Ends up our worst performance since 2020 Bigfooty wins
Round 6: Goody gets lucky with Turner, Oliver was 'better'. Goody wins
Round 7: Unchanged team, can Petty/JVR turn it around this week? Goody wins
Round 8: Leaves Billings in the side who is subbed after another shit performance, also doesn't make any late changes to the 3 tall forward setup when it is clearly going to be a very wet night. Bigfooty wins
Round 9: Brings Brown and Salem in, doesn't rest anyone. McAdam was also terrible in his first game, probably needed another run in the VFL. Draw (Only because they brought Brown in just to make it two talls up forward)
Round 10: Playing an awful Saints team, he makes normal changes which the board is fine with. Draw
Round 11: Our worst performance in 5 years. Senior players looking tired and still no-one rested. Bigfooty wins
Round 12: Another horrific performance. Goody only gets a draw because our issues were selection based Draw
Round 13: Part 1 of the Kynan Brown debacle. Bigfooty wins
Round 14: Part 2 of the Kynan Brown debacle. Bigfooty wins
Round 15: Goody rushes back Melk and drops Brown, then makes Taj sub. Slightly controversial but giving this one to the board, Goody is really concerning me with how he just makes the same guys sub every week as it has proven to already drive two players away from our club who are playing well elsewhere. Bigfooty wins
