Christmas sets a bad example to children and makes them become materialistic, selfish, uncharitable flogs as adults (I am very certain Influencers like Nadia Bartel and Bec Judd were spoilt brats as kids at Christmas)

Getting gifts and spoilt on a birthday is fair enough, there is nothing good or productive that comes out from the Community every Christmas.

Maybe if those kids had to fast and do it tough like us during Ramadan had, those Chriso brats might actually get some basic human decency and empathy to those less well off/poor (which really is what Christmas should be about before the right wing Christian bible thumpers and shops hijacked it for their own toxic agenda)

Believe what you want friend, but I honestly believe parents over spoiling their children on Christmas/Easter etc constantly sets them up to be selfish, naive and materialistic adults

If was a parent, very early on I would tell them there is no Easter Bunny or Santa Claus (say from 4 Years of age) and if I had a daughter at around age 7 I would tell her to beware of Men and not to approach any strange boy or man under any circumstances (probably too early an age to tell them about rapists etc but they need to be forewarned)

Children are not morons or simpletons that should be molly coddled, the earlier they know that Santa isn't real and the world is a very dangerous and dark world the better.

And if nothing else Christmas is a pathetic, insincere sham at pretending the world is a lovey dovey peaceful utopia.
