That's ridiculous - Mihocek / Mc Stay over McKay, I know he's only played once but he is a Coleman medalist - I'm surpised they did'nt put Billy Frampton in over Weitering. Must be hard up to fill the pages these days.
"McKay has played once so wasn't considered but De Goey who has also played once was considered." It's a laughable example of confirmation bias and selective data analysis.

What a touchy lot we are.

Individual accolades aside, Mihocek is better than Harry when it comes to doing what’s best for the team. Second effort, bringing others into the game and can still take a big mark and kick goals. It’s not even close.

the point is Harry was excluded from the process for having only played one game.... yet JDG was included having only played one game too.

Start fresh blank canvass.....Purge from top down......Astonishing but we are moving 180⁰ in the opposite direction.....We are cooked, fried hard!!! Blind Freddy can see this!!!

From a fans perspective no one has come out from the club and taken accountability for the mistakes made and the club is all about RESPECT yet nothing has been shown to the members that spend there hard earned cash or the common fan going to the games to cheer the club on......The biggest ones, game plan, conditioning, and the complete and utter mess of recruitment!!!

We need new 1 of everything.....New direction, New visions, New regime's, and definitely New game plan....throw in even new footballs too, this year's ones are cursed, common bread and butter skills have vanished but again that might actually fall under coaching!!!

Mihocek may be better at doing what’s best for HIS team. It doesn’t make him an overall better player. Harry made the AA squad, his a Coleman medallist, and was one of our best players last year

Was sounding like club were optimistic earlier this week Harry plays tomorrow but with Voss's language and Harry a no-show at Captains' Run I'd say he misses again.

So he’s fine to play an intraclub game but not in an AFL game. Missing for personal reasons should mean not being at the club at all.

A perfect example of what Carlton has become, individual accolades over team performance.

Hit the nail on the head there, I mean an intra club match in front of no one and an AFL game in front of a sell out crowd with your club sitting 0-3 have the exact same consequences & levels of anxiety

We don't know what it is but it sounds like it isn't too bad and/or he is on the mend which is good news.

To me it looks like he isnt 100% (mentally and maybe physically as well) and hence doesn't want to play on the big stage.

ie he is on the road to recovery - which is welcome news

Poor take.

If he's missed, and missed training - then absolutely he should be told to play in an Intraclub and even a VFL game to demonstrate he's right to not only play but play well. Curnow is building, Kemp just kicked 5, and Young played his role and kicked a couple. Make H earn his spot back.

We aren’t far off and it will turn very soon. If anyone has noticed we have led all 3 games at half time and then fallen away. This is mainly due to being overrun (lack of fitness) compounded by poor composure and finishing skills. Part of the reason Russell was let go was the fact the last two seasons we ran out of legs at the pointy end of the year. This year the club has strategically decreased the training workload through the offseason to manage this, so that we are at peak fitness in the latter part of the season leading into finals. As a result, we are currently not as fit as our opponents, who are running on top of us. You will notice with each game it’s gotten a bit better. Don’t lose hope, it’s a long season.
Reads like a hell of a lot of copium. Hope you're right.

Okhams razor simply says it's because the game style is impossibly taxing....

Guess we've got the season to find out

I dont get this. I have checked numbers of distance covered and we are running the same amount more or less than other teams. As far as contested, crash and bash style, the other mobs are also crashing and bashing with us and they seem to be getting through our games better than us.

I see our system is too congested and no one spreading and creating overlap with handball chains and taking risks .
The taxing bit is chasing other teams tails when they have possession in wide open spaces using their fast ball transition.

Thought we looked better in the first half last week.
