chris judd is the director of football
Is Chris Judd incapable of being wrong, or dissembling for the sake of not letting our opposition know what our goals are?

You can claim Word of God as much as you like, it doesn't change the nature of debate or any of the arguments on here.

he's in charge of the football department. He is not happy with the situation. people on here have also been unhappy with the situation. other posters have been saying no no, the club is happy we have improved. this is vindication that the club isn't happy

You know what they say of assuming things?

A does not equal B does not equal C.

And, even if your reasoning wasn't illogical, there is a manifest difference between happiness and being reasonably content with our level of progress despite the lack of tangible results. Your posts are unsubtle to the nth degree; you're never happy or sad, weary or energetic. It's not a hard dichotomy.

People are a bit salty atm - it is what happens when circumstance deals out some disappointment. I hope the players aren't of the same mindset.

For most players its their job. They don't have the life long emotional ties to the club like the fans.

I doubt many of them were feeling the same emotions as many fans after the game.

As an example, unless I am at the game, I'm so emotionally invested, that I cannot physically listen to or watch a match on TV.

I have to tune out and I check the scores about once a quarter. It's a sickness.

Part of the reason is of course is that as soon as I tune in to a game the opposition kick a goal !!! Same in Test cricket - as soon as I tune in the Aussies lose a wicket.
r u me? coz that may not work out so good for u.........

i'm not wasting anymore time with you. you can't even respond properly.......

you think you're some kind of genius with your "wut" response.

mate, i speak to directors and board members of the club. you know nothing.

just so you know, the players actually bag the **** out of your ilk and laugh at bigfooty........I find it quite amusing

Why are you getting so worked up

Again, tell me how Judd's comments vindicate any of your posts or so called rumour

It isn't rocket science to figure out the Club thought it would be performing better this year as far as W/L goes - hence the trade pick swap with Adelaide.
It isn't rocket science either to figure that the Club didn't plan for Docherty to be out or Bugg to bugger off or Picket to have what may be a career ending injury or Marchbank/ McGovern/Charlie/Williamson etc to have injury interrupted pre-seasons or Simpson and Newman to both go down in the same game...or Kennedy and Lang to have disastrous pre-seasons...

It is easy for people to feel disappointed and to want to 'blame' the coach and to use aggregate descriptors like so many first round picks to paint a picture that suits a negative narrative. the facts are that Carlton % is a huge improvement on last year's - despite the continued lack of continuity and and fitness on a list whose depth is being challenged - again.

A lot of very successful coaches have been through the cauldron of doubt that Bolton is going to be put through. Do you want a list?

Rebuild and reset isn't a 3 year story - it takes 6-7 years to complete and we are half way through it.

I suggest those that don't have the stomach for the ups and downs - harden up or get a new hobby for a year or so.

He said nothing that would vindicate people suggesting that Bolton would be sacked, or contradicting, anything Bolton said in his presser

Yet people here are claiming both
Judd is usually pretty calculated, so hearing the words would be of interest. However I'm Sure he's just a bit annoyed, compounded by the fact he has to be civil to the poptarts he has to work with on that show.

Did you enjoy yourself?
Probably more than going home and watching reruns of MAFS

I guess it just all comes down to the individual. Some just go along to watch the football, and if they're not happy with what they're seeing, they up and leave. A bit like going to the movies and it's a stinker.

Others probably feel more affiliated and emotionally invested with the club, especially the members, and are of the mindset that if we're going down, were all going down together. Celebrate the good times together and commiserate the bad.

Each to their own at the end of the day...

And yet here you are....

Honest opinion here mate, you sound somewhat desperate for validation. "I know people", "I have connections", "I speak to directors" - it all sounds very grandiose and "look at me". Serious advice, if you want to be taken seriously, stop shouting about how connected you are - nobody likes a braggart, especially one who reckons Club Directors are giving him inside info on the backroom dealings at the club just so he can run along to BigFooty and tell everyone how bad things are.

It's a truth of human nature that the bearer of good news will be welcomed, while the bearer of bad news will be shunned. It's also a truth of internet forums that most people who claim they know a secret, are talking a load of shit. Maybe you're one of the ones who does, but given how you conduct yourself here, I'd personally be very surprised if anyone in a senior position at the club who knew you would share anything remotely sensitive. There's a better chance of whoever apparently tells you things being sacked inside a month than there is of the same happening to Bolton.

I think for many players that is exactly true and the Club should treat them differently than it does other players for which this statement is untrue. Unfortunately when your list management and trading pretty much left a no list and no depth situation - it gives little 'wiggle room' to actually enforce standards of performance across all players during rebuild - this has been an obvious and horrible situation that the Club has had top wear because of the 'Chosen Ones' mentality and its long term impact - combined with the fact that the Club was effectively 'out of control' and dysfunctional for over 10 years - irrespective of on field performance.

The best thing Bolton can do is be ruthless now - if he continues to put up with double standards - he will take the risk of losing committed younger players.

You and me both.

It’s getting worse as I get older.

Did you not notice how the stands looked at three quarter time? Half our supporters left.

So you would consider 15,000+ people to be pathetic, fairweather campaigners?

Disappointing that fans would leave. Understandable that some would though, given the standard of our performance.

While I'd prefer every supporter to stick around to the end, and you know, support the team, I also think maybe what the players need with a performance like that is to see fans walking up the stairs. How gutted would you be? Playing poorly, struggling to find the spirit to get to the next contest, and the next. Then you look up and see a bunch of blue jumpers heading for the exit. It'd feel absolutely, ****ing, achingly terrible. And if that can be used by the coaches, and Cripps, to galvanise the players, then maybe it's necessary.

"60,000 members, boys, and 10,000 of them were so disappointed they walked out before the final quarter even started. We never want to see that again. No matter what the result, we want to show those supporters that we'll fight every step of the way. Earn their support."
