This is one of the funniest barometers of weather I've ever seen

You see plenty of abandoned race meetings due to wind, visibility, fog, waterlogged track, unsafe track etc. very rarely due to the track icing up between races cos it's sub zero at 10pm at night

It was 2C when I went to bed after midnight. In contrast it was 49C in Las Vegas today - an all time high. I'll take the 2C.
