Same with Corey Warner, was fine for his first game but at times looked pretty clearly not up to the pace of AFL football yet, Clarke into the 22 for him is a no-brainer.Gould was just passable last week considering the opposition forward line. Some rose coloured glasses going on here.
I wrote this before the GF;Hawkins main threat is the ruck wrestling 15m out nowadays.
Yep I share theRobbie Fox and Clarke are in my top 5 fav Swans the last couple of years.
Maybe I just love an underdog story, but then they play so well too, maybe it's that.
I think you can blame the AFL for the scheduling more so than Geelong."Coincidence"
Agreed. Like what I saw but needs some time in the gymSame with Corey Warner, was fine for his first game but at times looked pretty clearly not up to the pace of AFL football yet, Clarke into the 22 for him is a no-brainer.
Yeah we're that thin on talls at both ends that we can't just keep throwing more up forward. We have some great small and medium forwards. Back them in.ditto
I think Heeney Hayward and obviously Papley shine more with just McDonald and a bit of Mclean
He likely Has as he looks the choice for sub againFeel for Gould, thought he did enough to retain his spot.
No. Cunningham has just been poor. He was not up to AFL standard last year and he certainly is not up to it this year. The time comes fer every player and his has come. Corey Warner should have been retained and Harry dropped. He has 3 single figure games in his last 3 games. Time to go.Because he is doing the job presumably asked of him, which is to be a minimal possession player.
Doesn’t mean it’s rightJust imagine if 2 years ago somebody had said our most important player was Robbie Fox.
Well, I’m saying it now.
They're going to have so much egg on their faces when they fall for itI think the way we used the grand final to lull Geelong into a false sense of security was a masterstroke, will pay off this weekend
Gould will be imperative against Hawkins. It is stupid to leave him as subClarke comes in. Every day of the week.
Francis comes in . Swingman in the guise of Reid.
Gould stiff. However he will be sub and may be used tactically.
For all we know Gould's gps data was a bit s**t.
They're going to have so much egg on their faces when they fall for it
Literally wtf.Gould will be imperative against Hawkins. It is stupid to leave him as sub

We're picking a team to beat Geelong not to blood Gould
Simply more important things at stake
Some people waited so long for his debut that they just have to believe he's the next coming of Hickey.Literally wtf.
Gould has played 1/2 a game of senior footy.
That's it.
It was ok. He was ok. He did a two handed spoil. That was cute.
I doubted himWell done to Ryan Clarke
Squeezing everything out and determined to be an AFL footballer
The delusion is so strong. Some people waited so long for his debut that they just have to believe he's the next coming of Hickey.
I find it weird how the bulldogs did it to us too. I just think it's a campaigner of a thing to do.It's their first home game of the year at Kardinia Park.
We just happen to be the opponents.
It was him or Warner. Nothing in it but might be better off with the bigger bodied player against a mature team. Any other week to I'd be blooding warner though.Forget Gould, as you are right, but whats picking Cunningham actually doing
Well said. You have to admire what Clarke has achieved with limited football talent. Courage and a tank. Glad we kept him when we might not have.Well done to Ryan Clarke
