Doug Carter reckons he is their man..! So I'd be surprised if he turned out to be innocent. What a disaster for Delphi Police that would be. Only 120 white males that fit the killers profile and they get it wrong.! I'm tipping he is their man too.!

If he is found innocent he should take the police to the cleaners civilly. Without seeing the probable cause document it makes me think police did something dodgy and don't want it to get out publicly.

She also said that this kind of offender doesn't go from zero to double child murder, that there has to be an extensive investigation in to his background.

I don't know, it doesn't seem likely but maybe Allen and the Klines were in the same chatroom with Abby and Libby. Allen might even know the older Tony Kline, they look about the same age with Kegan Kline and Allen's daughter also about the same age?

I’m sure I had read that Kegan had organised to meet the girls on the same day.

Perhaps they are in the process of uncovering something big, or they have and are now gathering more evidence.

You think the Kline's and Allen are/were connected? Or just a crazy coincidence

Some of the podcasts are indicating that the Murder charge aka Felony Murder can mean a number of things:
e.g. the deaths have occurred as a result of a crime. The Down the Hill Comment may indicate that at that point it is deprivation of liberty forcing the girls down the hill. Other charges include offences against minors.
It is a generic murder charge that could mean from an accomplice to a sole murderer.

The other thing that was interesting was the sealing of the probable cause affidavit.

The suggestions were:
It could be a small town wanting to give the family more time to process;
It could be that there is another offender and it may influence that case or
that they wanted to confirm the evidence. This was probably the least likely.

The Tip line still being open wasn't considered unusual.

One of the comments on the Prosecutors podcast was that having 2 unconnected predators in the same small town connected to the same deceased girls would be highly unlikely.

Last thing I heard but can't remember where, was that Kline denied that but initially accepted what the police had said, that they had proof he'd been talking to them on that day. He might talk to so many girls he couldn't remember whether he spoke to them or not.

The police might have told him that trying to get a confession out of him?

Listening to Kline's police interview, he's been pretty tricky in how he's presented the operation of his marijuana delivery service, the clients pay for the service which includes the marijuana, technically they don't pay for the marijuana. It sounds suspicious.

The way he operates it gave me the idea that he might be catfishing as a way in to a form of pimping, collecting young girls who are completely unaware, to onsell their profiles, images and details and he's hiding the money behind a 'service'.

It might help explain the need for secrecy as there could be hundreds of underaged girls exploited in some sort of scheme that investigators need to try and make contact with and their families.

Just a thought flash and needs more thinking but something like this might go a bit of the way to explaining how it all happened and how Kline and Allen might tie in.

Before his recusal, Diener set a Nov. 22 hearing to determine if sealed court records pertaining to the arrest and charging of 50-year-old Richard Allen will remain out of the public eye.

Gull will stick with the Nov. 22 date for the hearing, according to John McGauley, court executive for Allen Superior Court.

Potentially the biggest suggestion yet that the Keegan Kline stuff could be a massive red herring

Allen supposedly told a conservation officer (essentially a park ranger) that he was on the goddamn bridge that day but hadn't seen the girls. Conservation officer has told the police but it was considered unfounded. The statement was rediscovered as part of a review of evidence in the case when police became frustrated with lack of progress.

Lack of progress was in some way related to Keegan Kline. In confirmation the Wabash River search was connected to the murders, Kline supposedly told police they'd find a phone and a weapon in the river. They found neither.

So it looks like Kline is a lying POS just trying to get off lighter on his own CSAM charges. Meanwhile Allen is one of those guys who likes to insert himself into the investigation. Unfortunately for Allen, it was Kline leading police on a wild goose chase that seems to have ticked them off enough reinvestigate old leads which is where they found a tip around Allen's statement

I'd thought it might be a massive red herring as well but apparently Kline googled the gas station in Delphi earlier in the day and then did a heap of googling on the case, while he was in Vegas.

There's also the police saying after Kline's arrest, that they may have cracked the US largest child pornography ring and that there were two devices on the Anthony_Shots account engaging with Libby earlier in the day. Also, the FBI has stipulated on the request to search Logan's property, that the 'staging' of the bodies was so that the killer could take pictures which links to pornography, if clearly on the extreme end of the spectrum.

Could Allen's device have been the other that was using the Anthony_Shots account? Or was Allen stalking them on their Snap Chat?

It is likely from what I have heard from the Prosecutors Podcast, that this date is when the probable cause affidavit cause would be released. The media have been requesting it to be released.

A prison call with another inmate who says Allen went in to the suicide cell and with prisoners walking past calling out death threats constantly, he continued to sleep through it apparently unphased.

There's been some focus in the past on whether the same man who murdered Abby and Libby might be responsible for the Evansdale murders of 10yo Lyric Cook and 8yo Elizabeth Collins in Iowa, 2012. Delphi Indiana is six hours drive from Evansdale, Iowa. The police will have to look at that I imagine.

The girls were abducted while bike riding and found five months later 25kms away from their bikes, in Seven Bridges a wildlife area.
