Not sure if this is a thread yet, but I was wondering if there was anyone that has been cut that could be picked up. There are a few 'okay' names going around and with a shallow draft, could they picked up?

James Magner, I dont really know why he was cut after his spectacular dream team score season.
Darren Jolly, Slow and worn down, but can still use his body.
Alan Didak, Could work as a sub
Bradd Dazeil, Pretty useless, but a good 2013.
Richard Tambling, nah.
Alwyn Davey, hmm...
Cale Morton,
Nick Lower,

Anyone, anyone, anyone, Bueller......

I wouldn't mind Ayden Kennedy.

Weller is probably going to St. Kilda. Mabon wouldn't be a bad pickup for a club that is light on for rucks. Jolly to the Saints? And who the hell knows with Didak?

A lot of clubs could do a LOT worse than get Addison. Can play forward or back and can play a role, perfect depth player when a club gets cut down by injuries.

GWS should grab Addison and talk to Jolly and see if a move is possible at all.

Magner deserves a chance. Would be happy with him at the Saints. Freo maybe? Just a swap for Minchie basically...

One of the SA clubs could grab Dids for a decent return on investment.

Don't disagree, and he'd be handy back up at the Swans, given we have close to no experienced depth going into 2014. But why did the Dogs delist him?

Didak must be a very strong candidate for Port Adelaide I'd have thought

Tony Armstrong will definately get to Collingwood.

Dalziel, Addison and Kennedy should be picked up, the Magarey medallist at the Crows (name escapes me) is another who should find a home and possibly Jolly. I'd expect St Kilda and Melbourne to top up with one or two of these guys, maybe Brisbane too

The young guys pushing ahead of him pretty much. I can understand why, but I think we should have kept him. Definitely will slot onto most club's lists and perform the role they want him to.

Jolly's finished, was finished last year IMO, I'd be staggered if someone gave him a lifeline.

Didak could be usefull, but, you gotta work him, and he's lazy!!, I'd pass on them both TBH.

Will someone take Brad Dalziell from West Coast? He was delisted today? He played 16 games in 2013

Wouldn't be a top side, but a bottom 8 side could do a lot worse than Dalziell- his issue is always his efficiency and turnovers but he does find the pill!

Yep I agree with your comments

He isn't a bad player, a side like GWS or another side near the bottom- Melbourne could do worse. These sides need mature bodies in the midfield

Yeah, but if Melbourne was going to top up with anyone in that list, I'd be choosing Mitsubishi Magner. Why he didn't get game time this year is completely beyond me. He was every bit as good as Moloney at the clearances, I reckon, and I don't know if the Melbourne coaching staff noticed, but we got about four clearances total for the frickin' year.

Really frustrating.

Richmond are apparently keen on Thomas as a depth player, and with Sam Lonergan retiring, I think he'd be a decent option as a depth midfielder for our squad.

Mabon is the one I want the Tigers to grab. With Hampson, and Maric, it is going to give Mabon a chance to develop even further, into a solid Ruckman. Our Ruck stocks are pretty poor outside Maric, and Hampson is an okay ruckman, Stephenson has 1 year left, Vickery is more a forward, and McBean is a few years away from being a solid ruckman, and even then, I doubt he would be able to ruck predominantly, as the club sees him as more of a mobile third forward. I think Mabon would be a good fit for us, especially with our stand-alone VFL side coming together in 2014.

I think you're thinking of Matt Thomas, he was at Port.
