i liked how they did Mirror Master, other than having his clones stay real/solid rather than having them disappear/disintegrate when KO'd. Im starting to think that Wells could be Reverse Flash or a different Flash from another earth, dont think he will be Bart or Wally . Better than the first episode
 
average second episode and then one of the great twists to end an episode which just bought them a few more episodes at least

the cops daughter is bordering on most pointless/annoying character on air at the moment
 
I'm wondering if those little flashbacks will be a permanent part of the show moving forward (similar to how Arrow has flashbacks). Just off the top of my head, I don't know if they'd have as much potential storyline for flashbacks before it got stale (at least with Arrow and Ollie on the island, that gave them a whole new setting to explore, plus the 5 years he was away from home gives the writers plenty of scope to write in his origin story).

Liked the episode though the girl (Iris?) reminds me of Laurel but not in a good way (will give her time though to find her rhythm).

Wells is a very interesting character too.
 
On a different note, looks like the DC TV and Cinematic universes are definitely separate as they've apparently cast some guy Ezra Miller as The Flash for the movie universe.

Yeah they said that last year when they started talking about the Justice League movie and Arrow kept coming up.

I find it funny that people are getting sick of Iris alredy, she wont be going anywhere anytime soon. in fact she will just become a bigger part of the show, i have a theory for what arc they will use her in.

I saw a comment (from someone who hopes DC will do a u turn and let the 2 universes be connected) suggesting maybe they might portray the cinematic universe's Flash as Wally West, though that'd be a stretch surely.

I think Iris seemed a bit better this week than in the pilot, I'm hoping with a few more eps, she'll find her groove and become a more interesting cast member (at the moment, she's probably the weak link - I think all the other cast members have done quite well so far).

If her story arc is just going to be trying to 'investigate' the Flash, I'd worry about the longevity of how much mileage they'd be able to get out of it before it gets old.

We have seen with Arrow that the writers love to show reveal the identities of their vigilantes to major characters. By the end of season Iris should know his secret identity.

Absolutely agree.

If they're going to go down the route of having Barry hook up with one of the female leads, than the girl from the lab would be the way to go. At least they've had a bit of chemistry so far.
 
Not a bad episode, but there was definitely room for improvement. Hopefully it picks up like Arrow did.

Liked the girl from the lab. Seems to have more chemistry with the male lead then Iris. She's also named after the supervillain Killer Frost from the comics. Will be interesting to see what they do with her character.

I hope to god that Iris doesn't turn into another Laurel, but all the signs are there.

Whats the significance of the museum line?

I think Harrisson Wells is a future version of Barry Allen, an evil one.

The only clues I have is that he wants to keep him safe otherwise anything that happens to young version could affect him, he looks like a older version of him and they have both have 2 r's and 2 l's in their first and last name.

The Flash Museum is a thing from the comics, where there are artifacts about the Flash and the Rouges gallery.

The line about it feels like ive waited centuries makes me think Vandal Savage, but the rare version where he is good. because of the immortality and his intellect could all be Dr Wells. and could have time traveled back to cause the reaction. and there is no need for an evil Barry Allen, there is already Reverse Flash.

The He was fire i was ice line was just cheese. Yeah we get it she will become Killer Frost, but why no hints for Vibe?

Im curious how they will do Firestorm as a solo thing, unless there was a sporty black guy in the reactor also.

Sorry not familiar with the comics. Knew about the Killer Frost thing. Didnt know Cisco was a DC character.

Im sure they will do a Vibe reference soon enough.
 
Thought this episode was much better. Was good to get a bit of backstory on Caitlin.

Also liked how they decided not to angst too much for Iris's story line with her father. Must admit, based on previous CW shows, I was completely expecting it to be dragged out.

Enjoyed the conflict between Barry and the villain this episode.

Overall, was a good episode and kept me engaged throughout.
 
Pretty good ep I thought! Really liked the flashback to the night the accelerator got turned on. And I'm really liking the mystery with Wells, hope they can drag it out while still adding lots of interesting hints and tidbits. IMO, the Wells storyline is the most interesting on the show.
 
another good episode. I like the look of Captain Cold. but the jacket was just off just a little too dark. Just wish they had Barry use his speed to vibrate his way out of the ice rather than have the Star Labs crew bail him out, unless they are saving that trick for later.

Loved the Kahndaq stuff, nice call back to the comics. also Heatwave at the end. starting to build the Rouges Gallery.
