Footy Show - Grant Thomas the Tank Engine

If you didn't see it, the opening few minutes of the Footy Show had a sketch called "Grant Thomas the Tank Engine". It had Dermott the Diesel, Huddo the Helicopter and the Fat (Big Boned) Controller Andrew Demetriou.

Some of the funniest stuff they have pulled out in a long while with a smart underlying message to the AFL and probably most likely Patrick Keane to back off and let the people talk.

If someone can upload the You Tube clip when it becomes available - that would be ace!
 
Grant Thomas the Tank Engine was the highest standard of humour I think I've ever seen on the footy show... Top segment... Andy D with the fat controller was gold...

They've found their level again though with the whoopie cushions...

Message of support for Matty Johns... Went along the lines of this:

"There's a girl in New Zealand who lost her job. Well there's a friend of ours, and friendship is important to all of us, and he's lost all his jobs. His name is Matty Johns. While we don't condone what happened in that incident, and we understand channel 9's decision, we wish him and his family all the best."

Thanks. I'm actually not thinking it's a conspiracy i didn't get to see it. the bloody tv is all over the shop tonight - it's dropped out again for about 15 seconds.

Yeah, that was great. Except the Whoopie cushion stuff was terrible. It didn't even say the whole word.

I loved the Bruce skit with Sam.

Agree completely. As I said in the other thread, the highest quality comedy I think I've ever seen on the Footy Show... Was clever, well written, and funny...

Much better than Lyon dressing up like an 80's rockstar and miming some crappy song...

Have to agree with everyone. Tonight they actually pulled out some funny stuff. Grant Thomas the tank engine, pissa and all the bruce stuff made me lol.
Was just wondering why they'd put such a has been in Nathan G. Brown on the show. I would of thought they already have enough of those with the regular panellists. Don't know why that guy just doesn't give it away and focus on his radical designer t-shirt label.

Almost as baffling as why they would put Daisy 'More boring than watching paint dry' Thomas on there.
