Paul isn't fighting Canelo lol.
Paul and Canelo are both good for boxing, but in completely different areas.
Maybe in 10 years time they might fight.

And all this scripted conspiracy garbage is laughable.
Tyson was 58. People who thought a 58yo would beat an ok, but not overly good 27yo, need to get over themselves and just take the L.
I’m not talking about a blow for blow script , but certainly there are elements for scripted outcomes and how each round will look like

Paul, although smaller, isn't really that much worse than the guys Tyson was losing to at the end of his career in his 30s. That people thought at 58 he was going to flick a switch and it would be the 1980s again was insane.
This is a very good point and one I raised to the guys at work (who aren't even casuals, they just saw some early Tyson fights).
Tyson was losing to bums at the end of his career, and he wasn't even that old really for a Heavyweight.
In the Paul fight, he wasn't only slow (as to be expected by an old man), but he's had zero punch resistance for a long time now.
Jabs made him wobbly, he actually even looked a little wobbly just walking into the ring.
Boxing fans knew Taylor v Serrano was where it was at, and Paul generated these girls a huge purse.

3 weeks again Usyk v Fury 2.. part of me wants Fury to win to see a epic trilogy but the other part wants Usyk to win and then beat Dubois again and retire.
A modern day Big Daddy v The real deal trilogy. I remember them being interviewed and saying they were mates and every fight happened because they both thought they were the better boxer and the argument ended up with them deciding to fight.

Or the OG Ali v Frazier but I wasn't alive for that.

A lot of people got seduced by his heavy bag and pad work , ignoring that an opponent with slight movement wouldn't allow him to get into position to land quick enough.

There is a good argument his last decent fight was either Holyfield 1 or even back further against Razor Ruddock .
Talking 30 years there.
I loved Tyson in the day but his peak was very brief all things considered 85-89

Yep..the people I spoke to kept crapping on about his 5 second clips.
Funny when I try mentioning Inoue to them, and how an Australian can claim all the marbles, I just get blank faces.
Casuals shit me, and that section of America, that we can't mention, shit me even more.

Tough weekend for the Aussies os with Camilleri and Paro getting done. It's not all bad though, apparently Paro v Kambosos is being set for Melbourne next year, I know a No Limit fighter who will be trying to get on it. Of course with Paro and Kambo being with Matchroom No Limit get 30% of any purse.
