I hope DC is smug AF, has every right to be, he has said on a few occasions in the past that he might not have beaten Jones but he doesn't have to cause Jones will beat himself.

I'm sure someone just got cleared on appeal for a USADA test but given were hearing its anabolic steroids the old "tainted supplement" aint gonna fly this time.

Didn't DC say that he was on roids in the pre fight presser? It seems it was just more than trash talk. Still, we will have to wait to see how it unfolds.
 
Geez, hated the prick before the fight, but was pleased for him at least that he appeared he seemed to have got his shit together after his win, certainly no pity for him now.

Does this reflect badly on Jackson Wink now? Surely after the past few years he should have had a minder on him 24/7.

Would probably make a mint in movies/pro wrestling, but surely that's his UFC career done? Too big for any other MMA organization where he would make the money he is after?

Poor DC though. :(

Malki? Tell that to DJ, Yoel, Woodley and litany of the best fighters in the game. He is also managing NFL players now.

Can't believe I bought that whole redemption story of 214.

**** Jones. Now I'm starting to believe those rumours about Jones hiding under the cage at Jackson Wink when USADA testers came past years ago. This guy has no conscience given what he was saying pre and post fight. Like the ultimate Sociopath.

As for reflecting badly on Jackson Wink; Mir (same substance), Overeem, Marquardt and Jones all busted for PED's. JAckson Wink aren't babystitting these guys but surely they had doubts.

Last fail was estrogen blocker. This time its apparently closer to Steroid on the scale of PEDs. Possible maximum 4 year ban. Couldn't care less if I never see the guy again in the octagon.

Feel bad for DC. Just got brain damage from a guy juiced to the gills. Still the LHW champ in my book.
 
I don't like Jones and didn't buy into his redemption story one bit but this just seems too much.

How could a human being who possess the capacity to reason make a choice to take steroids knowing, knowing! he would be tested multiple times in the lead up during training, in fight week and definitely after the fight? It makes no sense. Yes he's a flog, yes he has no moral compass and yes I think he would do almost anything to win his belt and as he says get 'his life' back, but this is the Everest of stupid decisions. Feild Marshal Haig would be proud.

Whilst being a self entitled flog, he also seems to be a reasonably intelligent person who wouldn't be swayed by fools telling him they have a foolproof way of doping without getting caught. As a rational, self aware human, I can't fathom that he might have made an educated choice to take this steroid in full knowledge of the likely repercussions.

Please guys, help me get my head around this.

It really doesn't add up. I'm going to let USADA come up with their findings before damning the bloke.

why do people feel sorry for dc he got his shot againt a weaker jones an lost drugs aside .

got his pay day which he never gets against anyone else. gus v dc end of year. wipe jones from ufc onwards an upwards in the ufc.
 
What are people's thoughts on Kevin Lee?

Obviously he is a very good fighter with a high ceiling, by what about as a personality?

I gotta admit I wasn't a fan when he first started going the "Conor" route, as it seemed forced, but I'm starting to really warm to him. Especially after his last 2 MMA hour interviews.

Yeah I heard him on the UFC podcast a few days ago. I think I've changed my tune as far his personality goes. Came across a lot more likeable in the interview. Should be a great fight with tony

Haven't listened to unfiltered yet, but plan on it.

He definitely is more likable, especially in long form interviews imo. He is also only 24 as well. He is probably still trying to find his groove.

Tony is such a big test but I can't imagine that being boring. Great fight.
