I def had a bunch of those Oddbodz cards. I had a few binders worth of NBA cards too back like in the early/mid 90's, would have been nice to look on had I kept them.
Yeah I tried to collect b ball cards and was pretty crap at it.

I found my original Shaq rookie card last year when my folks were moving out of the old family home.

Thought i'd struck monetary gold as I had it in that protective screen and everything.

Worth $40

Now it's lost again

I had an upper deck Shaq rookie card. Traded it about 10 years ago to a guy on the NBA board for a Reggie Miller singlet!

That's the one I have/had, (in a box somewhere in my folks shed is my guess)

Highly recommend trying out Apex Legends. Really solid shooter by Titanfall guys. Free to play BR. Much more polished than anything out on the market.

Great movement system and cool classes to use.

Tried it last night. I just don't think I know how to play those kinds of games from a first person perspective. No awareness at all.

Yeah it takes some practice. I grew up playing shooters (halo) so my aim and movement are normally pretty good no matter the game but the Battle Royale games require a different type of awareness.
They aren't everyone's cup of tea.

Only advice I'd give is land on the edge of the zone and follow the closing ring in. Enables you to learn the game by not having to worry about enemies from 360 degrees.

'Closing ring???' I've no idea what that is?

Battle Royale games start with a big playable area and normally have a zone that gets smaller and smaller to push players into one area to fight it out.
This is usually a storm or something that if you don't stay inside the "playable area" you will die.

Like I said not everyone's up of tea. But for a free game and as polished as it is it's worth a crack.

Anthem is another upcoming game that has promise.

Did you play the demo? Thoughts if so?

Flying around is very cool. Does the power fantasy quite well with each suit offering a different playstyle.

It's Bioware so the story should be a strong point.
The strongholds (think destiny strikes or rpg dungeons) are quite good mechanically however at release you are looking at only 3 of these.
With these games they are judged on their end game content, but Bioware seem confident they will be able to change and alter the world as they go and we should get regular content updates.
