Was actually looking at Perth's monthly weather last night. Hot and not a drop of rain for January. Sounds terrible

Yeh i could no longer stand Perth summers with no rain for months, dry heat that dries out your nasal passages and that easterly wind.

Some people love it and cant stand subtropical summers. Each to their own.

Currently a whisker below 40 in Melbourne - hottest day since 2019-20 summer.

EDIT: Made it to 40.5C at Olympic Park, then dropped 13C in about 15 minutes per the BoM
