I don't think I have seen Melbourne's sky be as animated as it was last night. For that long either. Saw a bunch of green flashes too.

Haven't had that many stinking hot days, but I recon it's been a good summer as we haven't had too many bullshit "Melbourne" summer days that are cold/cool.It's summer, it gets hot.
I'm not trying to be some hero but yeah it was warm today but it wasn't absolutely sweltering.
If anything it's been a fairly mild summer, we've not had many days over 30.
Melbourne's becoming an increasingly more temperate environment I think.
I did see a Starman and a Starman jnr.The aliens are here
Adelaide gets the worst heat waves
Disagree, it's been a hot summer.Haven't had that many stinking hot days, but I recon it's been a good summer as we haven't had too many bullshit "Melbourne" summer days that are cold/cool.

Whenever we've had a day of like 35+ it's just been a day. That idm.Haven't had that many stinking hot days, but I recon it's been a good summer as we haven't had too many bullshit "Melbourne" summer days that are cold/cool.
From memory it feels like it's been the hottest summer we have had for 4-5 years.
I don't remember 2020 summer - too long ago lol.I think it's been the first el nino one since the 2020 catastrophe? And yes easily the worst since then imo.
I remember NYE/NYD that time. I had to drive with my sunnies on after midnight because of the bush-fires.I don't remember 2020 summer - too long ago lol.
But last year's was a fairly wet summer, lots of thunderstorms and not really that many hot days.
We've not had much rain at all this summer, and plenty of hot days.

Jesus.I just remember it being constantly dry and hot like this one and how we reportedly lost between 500 million-3 billion animals from those fires. It's still hard to believe to this day and just makes me really sad.

From memory of what rellies told me, last summer in Melbourne wasn’t particularly hot. Here in SEQ it was diabolically hot and humid last summer but this year so far there have been a few days over 30 but not manyIt feels like that because we had a few hot days at the start of Feb. Otherwise Jan was average.
We had no rain in Adelaide in January![]()
