He did when he played for Sydney. I think he suffered a nasty head blow in a game and wore this as a precautionary measure after that.

Is there a minimum number of games a helmet needs to be worn to be eligible?

Off the top of my head, Cotch wore a helmet for a few weeks during 2016 (possibly only 2-3 games). Polak might be one to swap in for Griffiths if you want an alternative swingman. Was a better defender than Griff but Griff a better forward (though they both at times played either end).

Bartel got concussed a lot at one stage and wore one for a few games. Not well known for it though.

Was watching a replay of the Melbourne v St Kilda 2006 Elimination Final and Justin Koschitzke was wearing one.

Minimum is 1 game. But those who wore them for most of their career get preference in the line up.
