Any word on when TLOP will be released on Spotify?
No one knows about the platforms on which it will be released, but rumor has it that it will be available on iTunes and Tidal first and foremost.

This is from Reddit. Your best bet for the next day or two is to stream the replay off Tidal or see if it is put up on YouTube

I couldn't wait. I was incapable. I have mp3 versions of the live performances today. It's amazing.
Man, I held off listening to Wolves until today. Listened to a fan mix of the version with Sia and Vic Mensa with the Frank Ocean outro.

It was great.

Hopefully the album comes out tomorrow.

If it makes you feel any better, it is well, well worth the wait.

I'm not sure I actually like it that much, on first listen. And I love Kanye. It just feels like he threw a frying pan full of songs at the wall and saw what stuck. There's just not much cohesion to it all. Although I did feel like this initially with Yeezus and ended up coming around to that

But yeah the first two 'singles' still remain my favourite tracks, alongside Ultra Light Beam

listening now...

heard that in clubs too many times, but kanye hasn't really done much with it, same with the hardrive sample on the same track. it's one thing to just pull killer bits from classic tracks, and another to really flip them in a distinctive way. dunno, just felt kinda lazy. i really like the streak from fml to no more parties in LA. rest of it seems a bit everywhere, but maybe it's some kind of cohesion through dissonance metaphor...

Also TIDAL charged me $26 when I tried to buy it through their site and their website ******* bugged out and I didn't get an email or download link. Jay Z can suck my nut
That might've been a scam Gibbsy as the tidal site lists it at $9 I believe.
Waves better be an amazing track. :(
Waves is great. Chris Brown does well on it.

Favourite track is Ultralight Beam though. Wolves would be it if they didn't add that horrendous Ye verse and removed Sia and Vic Mensa.
Laneway Vince :hearts:
Saw him at Laneway when it was in Adelaide. Was ****ing brilliant. :hearts:

I'm pretty sure the album is meant to finish right after Wolves and the rest to be viewed as bonus tracks.

Album just ends better after Wolves.

Got my hands on the FLAC (I feel entitled to given the coin I laid out) and burnt it to a CD then went for a long drive tonight. Dunno if it was because I was able to pay more attention second time around but I really enjoyed it. Even tracks like Feedback which I really disliked first listen, I found myself coming around to.

It does still feel like five albums in one - but it's so typically Kanye in that sense. I think once he felt he conquered the world with MBDTF he's been a lot more carefree in his releases since... Yeezus had no singles and a divisive sound, TBOP had a farcical roll-out and is probably three or four tracks too long, plus the inclusion of a ridiculous meme track like Facts and weird shit like voicemail messages and actual phone calls interrupting the flow of the back half. The longer he goes on the longer he probably feels happier with his own work, I just feel there's not that perfection that was evident in his earlier work.

It'll be interesting to read the reviews and see where the critics sit with it - I'm guessing 8.4 BNM for pitchy. But it's whether it's immediately praised or criticised is what I'm most interesting in; not forgetting the initial confusion post the release of 808s and then it developing its own legacy in the years to follow.

The album was clearly meant to end on Wolves. Everything after that is essentially bonus tracks.

The album version of Facts is 200x better than the other version, why don't you like it?

Oh... didn't realise that was a 'sample' thought that was a new beat. Still good either way.

Gave this a listen 3 or 4 times last night anyway.. absolute grower. Pretty good work but I do get the feeling that this will be his last album for some time and he kind of wanted to just get it done with. Kanye doesn't ever give us this many songs so maybe it was his little gift to us.

I'd give this a 9/10 for what it's worth (nothing), good production, good features and Kanye was good as usual. Quite different and reflective compared to his other pieces.. 30 Hours reflecting on a relationship that ended at least 12 years ago (Last Call esque talking on that track too).

Anyway yeah... I'll be vibing to this for a while, should be my soundtrack for the rest of summer and start of Autumn.

It's .. good, but is that even a compliment to a Kanye album?

To be fair though I was a bit taken back by Yeezus at first now It's in my top 3 of his albums so maybe this one will end up growing on me too.. Who knows?

Rate Kanye's albums from fave to least fave;
1 - MBDTF
2 - Late Registration
3 - Yeezus
4 - College Dropout
5 - Graduation
6 - TLOP
7 - 808s
