Re: Injury Update

When did Hibberd do his hammy? I thought he was only out with 'general soreness'?

Another hamstring - worried!

Re: Injury Update

A couple of minor injuries from last nights flogging :(.

Hurley - apparently playing with severe blisters on his feet but he should be fine for next week.

Pears - left knee knock

Fletcher - late out this week but should be back for Collingwood.

Heppell - probably needs a rest

Watson - should return next week unless he re injured his hamstring.

Noticed that he didn't take any part in the pre game warm up. He looked like he was struggling to run in the 2nd half but still played well.

Heppel definitely needs a break.

Re: Injury Update

Stress gets to Hurley's foot

"Hurley's got a sore foot. It's a stress reaction, not a stress fracture," Hird said today.

"It's a bone in his foot, but not one of the significant ones.

"It might be two weeks, it might be three weeks. We will see how it goes. We want to make sure the heat comes out of his foot and he's not playing sore."

Re: Injury Update

Really hope the Bombers spend some of their money again in the off season and look for the best fitness and conditioning coach. Either within Australia or looking at other elite sporting codes and trying to poach someone from Europe or America. Year after year the injury list increases, its ridiculous and then they sack their fitness coach half way through the year...strange.

Re: Injury Update

Pears, Hurley and Hocking with stress injuries in their feet.

Daniher a groin groin for 2 years.

Long a hammy for 2 years.

Something is drastically wrong with the fitness program - And has been wrong since 2008.

Re: Injury Update

I will post the updated injury list and relevant articles after they are released this afternoon.

:(

With Prismall's injury do you think we will promote a rookie for the remaining rounds?
