It will add a few new features. Well worth the $10 upgrade.

Higher resolution, better textures, dualsense functionality, greater LoD.... Quite a few things they can do.

Yeah, it’s a $20 upgrade and it sounds like it upgrades a lot. Both games are going to be playable natively on PS5, that’s a good thing.

The upgrade to get the PS5 version (for PS4 owners) is $20. So unless you can get the $20 upgrade from EB Games, you might as well keep your PS4 copy and upgrade it on your PS5 console but you will need to keep the disc.

It sounds more like a director's cut. Small fee for extra DLC type content but as a "remaster" there's not that much of note different from the PS5 patch for the OG version. A cynic might say this is a cheap way to recoup some of the cancelled multiplayer costs.

The fine print wasn’t even that fine when Naughty Dog announced the remaster and that PS4 owners would be able to upgrade for a small fee. That information was literally right in the headline of most articles about it lol. Like this one.
