IGN lists a few possible takeaways from the image:

• Contrasts heavily with Ellie's poster - darker themes compared to much lighter. Speculates that the two could potentially be separated given how different the images are.
• Flames form a wolf's face (Joel a Stark confirmed). A number of possible interpretations given here: Joel being a "lone wolf," wildlife a bigger part of the game, wolves being mutated, etc.
• Supposedly reinforces the previous theory that the game is set in Seattle though I'm not sure I follow why.

The last Outbreak Day poster by the same artist was a teaser for the game - the floral emblems used mimicked Ellie's tattoos, which we hadn't seen before the poster was released. I think it's a reasonable suggestion that there may be some links - although I tend to agree IGN's speculation is a bit much.

It's definitely not official, but the artist clearly had some information from ND for last year's Outbreak Day poster - not out of the question that he does this year as well.

No way it's out next year I would suggest. In fact I'd argue there's more chance of it coming out in 2020 than in 2018.

You're probably right sadly Either way, we all know we're going to get an amazing game and product. Is it the same team who did the latest uncharted that would be working on this? or does Naughty Dog have different dev teams for their projects?

Lost Legacy was done by a small team, while everyone else at ND worked on TLoU Part 2.

Agree with this. Hopefully 2019 but no chance for 2018.

As evidenced by the speculation on that poster, thats the problem with announcing games way too early. People and outlets extrapolate all sorts of weird stuff from every little crumb they get that may or may not be connected to the game
