Keep an eye out this weekend for the Lego Insiders event. Usually held the weekend before black Friday, and includes some discounts, double points and GWPs. They often too have points discounts on vouchers which can be handy even if you don't need anything now.

Separate is their black Friday sale which generally includes a few discounts on desirable sets, and of course the release of Endurance.

Get your wallets ready :)

I keep the boxes, but I'm not really sure why, I'm never going to sell anything ;).

I flatten them (easy with the old tape closed ones, harder with the glued up boxes or the ones with lids or top opening flaps) and keep them on a shelf in the garage.
i do the same thing, never going to sell my Lego, some boxes look good though

Oh yeah I 100% keep all books and spare pieces.

This
My instruction books are kept in a pile, and kept as dust free as possible.

My boxes... well I started off wanting to keep everything. But I've literally just got the 89 Batmobile box stashed away.

My spare lego pieces from every set are kept in multiple jars (3 so far, will need a 4th soon lol).

I'm not sure why I keep my boxes, cos I don't anticipate ever selling my lego, and if I do I'm not sure how much value open boxes and used instruction books have anyway.

But I have most of them. The boxes are in an empty tv box in an untidy corner that drives me crazy; instructions are scattered throughout various draws and bookshelves.

I don't expect the boxes will last long. I have a house inspection next month, and I like to get a professional clean once a year that I've set for a few days before - so there's every chance these boxes all go by then.

Just received an email from Lego about the Insiders Weekend, held on 23 and 24 November. There'll be double points, some discounts on selected sets and a couple of new GWPs. It's generally a good time to get exclusive sets that aren't available discounted anywhere else (I might get Nightmare Before Christmas, which is currently on backorder).

Unfortunately this won't include Endurance, which releases on Black Friday, 29 November, and won't be available for pre-order before then.

And they're announcing some F1 sets this week as well. Could be ugly. I still have the Technic Merc to build, as well as Great Wave and a Technic Porsche... but I'm hanging out for some smaller builds that I can get done in a day or two, the week-long builds are tough to find time for, especially when I've had foster dogs coming and going.

By the way, the acrylic case by DKDISPLAYING on Amazon that has the background has had its price cut in half, I just found it this morning.

Do you have the Senna set? That's probably my pick of recent smaller builds, or some of the smaller Botanicals if you're into those. I think I'll get Poinsettia for the Christmas table.

Yep, already have/built Senna. I'm hoping the Mansell Williams is out by Christmas, as that's the one that's been leaked that I've seen so far.

Lego's wallet draining strategy of producing 18+ sets is great, but some of them take up a lot of space.

Any recommendations for display? I am looking at getting bookshelves or perhaps a cabinet approx 900W x 2000H x 40D.

I’ve got a great cabinet around that size that holds some more younger LEGO sets at mums place that I’d like to use for my newer ones. Trouble is it’s big, bulky and heavy and can’t get it out!!! But it’s a good cabinet, originally had it to house my model cars.

I’d also have to get rid of the spare bed in my office to put it.
