Golf The Masters - 2024

The Masters is so close, history beckons, but for what player and what situation? If you like golf then at this time, "you gotta love it"!
Going by the market its tiger all over again, you either go Scottie or take your pick, anyone else, you are going to get good odds!
Unfortunately with the weather for half a day someone is going to be disadvantaged, will be very interesting to see who cops the crap on the first day.

Morning group going to cop it apparantly.

Reads pretty nasty

Unfortunately, the tournament's Wednesday afternoon forecast says that a band of thunderstorms with wind gusts of up to 45 mph is expected to cross through the area, starting at 7 a.m. and lasting until 1 p.m.. It's a 40 percent chance of rain after 4 p.m. In all, up to 1 3/4 inches of rain is forecast.

The weather outlook for Friday has no rain, but winds up to 30 mph, with much better conditions expected for the weekend.

Hopefully it doesn't unfairly disadvantage the morning group. I think they should delay the start. You can't shoot a decent score in 45mph winds, but I am talking through my pocket.

WINNER: Ludvig Aberg
RUNNER-UP: Sam Burns
BEST AUSSIE: Min Woo Lee
BEST LIV GOLFER: Joaquin Niemann
BEST ROOKIE (UNDER 3 STARTS): Ludvig Aberg
BEST AMATUER: Christo Lamprecht
TIGERS FINISH: Tied 27th
ROUGHIE: Nicolai Hojgaard

I know no one has won the Masters first look since Fuzzy Zoeller way back in 1979, 45 years is a long time, but I don't think we've seen a rookie field as classy as this for awhile, a bit of luck in the draw, on the day and lets see what happens.,

I've got about the same number of bets as you but not one the same.
My main hopes are:
Matsuyama- has the record and stats.
Zalatoris- great majors record
Henley- in form, 4th last year
Hadwin- in form, course suits

Why? Did he not win those? We all know the big ones he lost.
Never seen so many aussie haters in my life.

People dislike him because he's an egoistical moron, has nothing to do with being Aussie.

My first Masters memory is getting upset as a 6 year old watching him lose that '96 Masters. That'll stick with me at least.

If PGA tour players say he is because they are upset they might be losing grip on their monopoly I don't necessarily agree with them.
But I have said myself he is very arrogant. Doesn't change how good a golfer he was though.
