"Collingwood won a premiership in 1958. It won another in 1990. Then another in 2010. Since 1958 it has won two premierships. That’s two in 63 years. And, the way they are travelling, there won’t be another for quite a few years yet.
For a quick point of comparison, since 1958 Hawthorn has won 13 flags. Richmond and Carlton have won eight apiece in that time. Geelong, West Coast and North have four each. Brisbane and Melbourne three.
Even Adelaide, another underachiever, can match Collingwood’s record of two flags since 1958 and it only started playing in 1991.
So, it’s a mystery why anyone takes Collingwood seriously when it comes to any talk about the how the competition should be run. They are serial failures.
And that’s before we arrive at any discussion about Collingwood’s long history of racism."

"Collingwood is part of the AFL, just like Port, Adelaide, the Swans and the Dockers. The Magpies should have no more or no less influence than any other club. It’s time the AFL stood up to them."

And you know the crows would have used this to manufacture motivation, especially Walker. And he still performed like a cold fish.

coz he knows deep down it's true.

Obviously the focus this week has to be on beating the Bulldogs, but with all the crap that's gone on this season, I hope the boys are bracing themselves to humiliate the Pies next week.

ABC TV morning news gave nice plug to the Port Adelaide - Adelaide Oval Game Day experience. ABC co-host Michael Roland who is a massive Bulldogs fan came over for the game and said the whole game day experience was amazing from the music , fireworks and never tear apart lead in. Also said he sat amongst the port crowd and said banter was good and crowd friendly. Was good PR and as ABC play down AFL coverage was bit surprising.
Said well done to all at the club involved.

How weak is that campaigner?

Sucker punches him and then has about 6 free shots and scores nothing. Obviously old mate getting punched was fairly drunk but still.

If he’s our member he should get 10 to life from Adelaide Oval and whatever the law does.

Which one is from the Sack Hinkley faction and which one is a Yes We Kern adherent?

Was it a sucker punch? The bloke was literally asking him to hit him, pointing at his chin.

And he was clearly blind. Sober people don’t generally ask to be punched in the face.

I said the same to my brother.

If you watch the longer version of the video, Sheepskin Jacket's not even part of the initial brouhaha, he makes his way across just in front of the camera while it's going on below him. He then goes for a fakey a couple of times to try and faze drunk boy but he only gets more lippy. Was a pretty soft flurry of punches but he's damn lucky drunk boy didn't clock his head on the concrete or he could've been in a shitload more strife.

The punches didn't drop him, it was his pissedness that threw him off balance when he went to fight back.

You could argue he was dazed from the punches thrown just before. Without evidence that he was drunk, Old Mate Sheepskin would be seen as the cause of any injury he sustained.

The Gavin Wanganeen episode of Open Mike is being replayed on FF in an hour.

Did he spend any time at all at Port Adelaide?

If it’s the one I’ve watched previously it’s about his time at Essendon

Was that the one where Shehan says something like "which team does your heart lie?" Wanganeen reticent to chose.. Shehan says "I'll take that as Essendon then..."

So tell me Gav, out of the two clubs you played for which would you say is your favourite, and why is it Essendon?
