I think I'll be pretty devo if we lose to Richmond this week. This is certainly a winnable game. Come on boys, give us a win.

Hill out for two weeks :( Are we attempting to be the first team in history to have everyone on our B22 injured? At this rate we'll be recruiting from the old dudes watchers area at training just to make up the numbers.

Mark Harvey says hi.

Jokes aside, we have an absolutely savage injury list but the upside is we are finding out heaps about our youngsters. Just might pay dividends over the next couple of seasons and I'd be expecting a reasonable large turnover of players by season's end. If (its a big if) we get our drafting strategies sorted out, we should be pretty active in off season but I'm not convinced leaving Bond and Lloyd to run it is the best option

Really need to win a game shortly. The effort is there but we all want to see the boys (especially the young ones) with the scent of a victory in their noses get over the line and show some real promise.

We all get that playing the kids is an absolute necessity but there is no way that a team should go from being so competitive last year to the way we are now performing. The skills are simply not good enough and that problem lies with the majority of our foot soldiers rather than the newer guys.

Richmond are not going to be playing the kids and whilst very very inconsistent this year have more than enough fire power to give un another night of misery unless our senior players finally step up..

Nope, time for a clean-out. List management has got us to this position with no forwards so they should be held responsible.

No argument from me on that one.

Let me add a bit more to that. Who have they recruited to replace Johnson and Sandi? We already know that we currently only have Tabs up forward but hopefully over the next few years Uber and Apeness will come on. But down back to replace McPharlin, Johnson and Dawson, we have Pearce. Oops

But its ok and Bond and Lloyd are currently reviewing their own performance and I think we can confidently predict they will be able to blame.....Harvey and carry on.

Uber is more KPD than kpf .

The club has brought in founding captain and recently retired football director Ben Allan to help oversee the list review which will come to a conclusion next month. Rosich, Lyon, football boss Bond, list manager Brad Lloyd, along with three club directors, have contributed to a new strategic list plan.

Great time for a strategic review of your list, at 0-8, shouldnt this have been an off season thing so we might have drafted or traded differently or is it just panic

Because you don't normally do THESE sort of list reviews after a minor premiership and prelim final.

BUT saying that, they really did underestimated where our list was in terms of the required skills for the new game plan.

I have scouted out a replacement for you from the old dudes area if needed he is 84 yrs old midfielder who learnt his craft following South Freo and he would play for nothing so there is no effect on the salary cap or if you like there is a 70 yr old former KPF with Old East's Colts that loves kicking long torps that could also be a foil for Tabs. So we have got the problem covered if we need the numbers.:thumbsu::)

When I look at our team and then look at all other 17 teams, I see us as having the worst list and wonder if we are actually capable of winning more than 1/2 dozen games. I am looking at the key position spots and we have nothing. Pavlich,Mundy, Sandilands are ancient. There are some players that look like they may develop into A graders in a few years but right at this point we are really struggling. Gold Coast & Carlton beating us at home was the pits, Gold Coast have since capitulated. I know I am stating the obvious here but we just seemed to be a very jinxed club, we can't seem to land good players and when we do ,they can never get on the park. The good players we have break down and can't get on the park ,we have a whole lot of very average honest battlers who give great effort as Ross would say but lack skill. Our defence game in the past together with our very drilled players following it to the letter made us successful for a while ,now things have changed and we look like a bottom 8 team. Until we weed out these unskilled players and the new ones develop and we find some more tall skilled players, it may be some time that we find ourselves back in the top 4.

It's freezing here and I can't wait to melt

The positive is we cant get lower, need a good thrashing like this to finally wake all up at the club that drastic measures need to be taken, competitive efforts plus injuries have taped over the cracks for too long
