Are you referring to your machine or the effects of old age :p

What are you trying to say :p

The net is just slow generally for me today for some reason. Time to go for a walk I think

So here's the thing, I've been looking into a career change since I got wind I'd have to basically live in Japan or risk not having a job.

started to look around for other work, although I have plenty experience in management I have few qualifications, outside of the field of security. (and I want to try something else)

Well the good news is after months of nothing I got an interview for a marketing position with an AFL club.

A massive pay cut from my current wage, but I won't have to up root no travel involved and the work seemed pretty straight forward.

So I did the interview But after hearing nothing for 2 months I took the promotion.

This morning I awoke to find an email from said club informing me I have the job and will be contacted via phone in the next week for starting details.

Now I'm in 2 minds I want the marketing job but having already accepted the promotion I don't want, I feel like I owe my company something.

But at the same time I worry if I stay I'll end up pissed off and bitter and will **** everything up which will result in getting sacked anyway.

But then I think what if I'm no good at this new gig? What if I leave and find the job is actually unfulfilling, I'll be throwing away a good high paying job for nothing.

One other thing to consider is if you take the job you don't really want then you might end up resenting it later which might harm your relationship with your current boss.

Having been working for a few years now, the thing that surprised/shocked me most was how often people do change jobs these days...

Yeah think they say the average a person of my generation (the early 20's/late teens) will be in a job will be about 2 years before moving on. Pretty crazy.

I'll drink to that!

All this pre season speculation from every wannabe football expert in the country and lack of genuine football discussion is making me grumpy reading this board, think I need some of Sophs champagne.

Does dropping hints ever work with guys?
It's my birthday next month, and I've had my eye on a weekend away at the zoo for a while now.

Yes, just causally mention you want to go to the zoo for your birthday, May want to wink or add the words "hint, hint" to end of your sentence or repeat your wanting to go to the zoo for your birthday louder and slower.

Subtle!! I've brought it up before, not as my birthday though. We'll see.

We'll if he's anything like me he won't get subtley, just yesterday I yawned and the GF asked me if I was tired. I said no just bored, she then asked me if I wanted to go to bed. To which I replied "I just said I wasn't tired."

Haha no idea, guess I'll find out on the 30th of Dec how much he listens to me :)

In other news, cutest study date with SM tomorrow <3

You really shouldn't string him along like that when you're seeing someone else...

Why is everyone putting procrasti- before every word now?
