Yep, a lot of us feared that was exactly what was going to happen a couple of weeks after the bye when we looked off at almost everythingthing pervasively. I get why we still gave it a try. Hell, Jacobs' issues identified sooner and dealt with and I would guarantee we'd be in the 8, verging on 4. At the end of the day though... ninth is a really ****ing unpleasant place for us to end.

We get a top proven outside mid hbf and thus doing So get to pick up our priority first pick in the draft for a reasonable amount of points / picks.
Meanwhile we’ve had a decent year proving to the world that we aren’t shit and good enough to attract potential FA / trade targets.
Finish the year with a win and momentum / goodwill into next season.

Not a bad audition by Polec, with Westhoff and Ryder easily Ports best in a losing side.

What i found strange, was Port won hitouts, clearances (both centre and general), contested ball, stoppages, I50's, marks in F50, and soundly thrashed in tackles, and uncontested ball, where have i seen that before ?
