Unless they completely drop off and don't win another game this year, then he'll be fine. He's got credits in the bank and the GoSwannies had a lot of injury interruptions this year.

I think that the question re the Swans' talent is more "How did they play in a Grand Final last year?" Although 'play' in that sentence might be a stretch. More like 'appear'.

They've got plenty of holes which have been exposed with a bad run of injuries this year. Better than 14th. Nowhere near 2nd.

They're 3-7 with him in the team. 3.5-2.5 without him. Averaging 9 possessions a game, 1.4 goals and moves like I would. McDonald has kicked 12 goals in 4 games without him - 10 goals in 8 with him. Amartey has 11 from 5 without him, 0 from 3 with him. They are literally worse when he plays.

He deserves to call time on him own career, but it also must cross Horse's mind now that finals aren't an issue for them that a farewell game before Round 24 wouldn't be a bad idea.

Oh, and yes, draft concessions, a COLA return, and Academy expansion to include all players to have ever been to NSW is just about guaranteed.

The father son rule to be loosened to provide priority access to any draftee who is the child of a player who has played in Sydney or against them in any other location.
